Ty for stats, that's all your work, but I cleaned it up slightly...

He scored a second, an injury time equaliser too.

I'd be amazed and delighted for the lad if he could become a championship level striker. His goal return thus far has been dire, but hopefully that can change.

Two really nice goals. @ Lee Clarke's Ketsbaia celebration

Hope Kiko finds himself a nice club this summer. He needs a stable environment to play his football.

And :lol::lol::lol: at Clarke's celebration.

Macheda's goal return has never been in question, are you sure you mean Macheda?

He's scored 13 goals in 99 apps....

1 in 16 in Sampdoria,
0 in 6 at QPR
0 in 18 at Stuttgart
3 in 15 at Doncaster Rovers

and finally,

5 in 8 at Birmingham City.

So yes, his goal return has been distinctly in question. Prior to Brum he'd scored 8 in 91, which is pretty dire.

I thought Tom Lawrence had scored a few on loan this season?

I can tell you like reading stats, have you watched him at any of the clubs? as the majority of appearances he has have been a few minutes, if you add the minutes/goals (a worthwhile stat) it's a lot closer reflection of reality.

If his goals/minute was in any way decent, wouldn't he get more minutes?

Not really, as that's all he does is score the goals, and he's not amazing at it, just very good, the rest of his play outside the box etc, makes Hernandez look like a world class all rounder... He's capable IMO of maturing into a 20 goal a season championship striker, obviously there is a lot of IF's, backed up by the fact a few years back, his potential was touted far higher... Shame really.

Jonny Sutherland has joined Stafford rangers on a work experience loan. Charni Ekangamene is back at united due to lack of numbers but is still loan contracted to Carlisle and can play if they need him

Liking the loans this season. All of them are getting adequate gameplay except of Wilf but it's understandable in Cardiff's situation.

Sam Johnstone was man of the match for the 2nd game in a row as Doncaster won 1-0

Loans roundup

Manchester United's Sam Johnstone kept his third clean-sheet in four outings to help his loan club Doncaster Rovers record a crucial 1-0 victory over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

The young goalkeeper made good saves to deny Chris Maguire and Leon Best, ensuring that Chris Brown's goal gave Doncaster all three points as they bid to beat the drop in the Championship.

Elsewhere in the same division, United striker Tom Lawrence set up Kevin Dawson to fire Yeovil Town into a 2-0 lead over Bolton Wanderers on the stroke of half-time. Unfortunately for Lawrence and his team-mates, Bolton came back after the break to earn a 2-2 draw despite being reduced to 10 men.

Will Keane and Nick Powell both enjoyed wins with Queens Park Rangers and Wigan Athletic respectively in the Championship. Keane played 64 minutes of his side's 3-1 win at Middlesbrough before being replaced by Bobby Zamora, who went on to score in the closing stages. Powell meanwhile was introduced from the bench with Wigan 2-1 up against Watford and helped to see out the victory. Will's brother, Michael Keane, played the full game as Blackburn Rovers held the league leaders Leicester City 1-1 at Ewood Park.

It was a disappointing day for the remainder of the Reds' loanees who all suffered defeats.Wilfried Zaha came off the bench for Cardiff City at home to Liverpool but had little opportunity to make an impact in a 6-3 loss. Jesse Lingard was taken off late on as Brighton & Hove Albion went down 2-0 against Ipswich Town, while Federico Macheda and Tyler Blackett both featured for Birmingham City as the Blues were beaten 2-1 by Reading.

Sam Byrne could not prevent a 4-1 defeat for Carlisle United against Notts County in League One, although Charni Ekangamene was not involved. On Friday night, Jack Barmby was denied a goal by a good save from Ryan Clarke as Hartlepool United were beaten 1-0 by Oxford United in League Two.

Jonny Sutherland's debut for non-league Stafford Rangers ended in a 2-0 home defeat to Worksop Town. The 19-year-old goalkeeper is on work experience with the team plying its trade in the Northern Premier League.

Seems like Michael Keane has started all games for Blackburn since going there.

kangamene recalled by United

Carlisle's quest to beat the drop have been hit as midfielder Charni Ekangamene has been recalled from his loan by Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has been at Brunton Park since joining on a half-season loan and has made four appearances for the Cumbrians in that time.

But he has been summoned back to Old Trafford to feature in the Red Devils' development squad.

"Charni is a great lad and we wish him all the best with Manchester United," manager Graham Kavanagh told the club's official website.

"We saw some good stuff from him but it became a complicated situation with the fact he needed to be playing for the development squad down there.

"Warren Joyce and Man United have been superb for us with all of their players so this is one we completely understand. Like I say, he's a good player and I'm sure he'll do well."

Johnstone apparently has been sensational for Doncaster for weeks now and has attracted a lot of interest from bigger clubs
