Liverpool will win the league | NARRATOR: They did not, in fact, win the league.

If they win it so be it… they’d of done so by not cheating and having a lot of injuries. Unlike that other manchester team.

I mean, they effectively dropped points against 17th-placed Forest just yesterday but were handed the win by the ref (a happy little accident that the media will have forgotten about by this afternoon, you can be sure). If we imagined that they had played that game without a ref who chooses to ignore the rules in order to gift them the points, they would have drawn against one of the league's worst teams. No reason that can't happen again.
Fulham beat Arsenal; Wolves beat City; Palace drew to City. No reason that can't happen again.

Long time lurker. Always liked this site as the standard of football discussion is generally pretty reasoned and humorous, the exception being all things Liverpool.

I understand they’re your rivals, but some of you are beyond paranoid about them. A lot of the posts since their result yesterday are comical. The funniest part is, that win is more or less exactly what your great United sides did…albeit you did it for a lot, lot longer.

Regardless, you don’t have to worry. Liverpool won’t win the league. It’s admirable how they’ve integrated their youth products to scrape by recently, but that can’t go on forever and there are still a ton of games left to play. They’re limping along with a threadbare squad whilst us and City peak at the exact right time, blowing teams away.

City are disgusting. Fair play so far young Kelleher. If the Scouse calm down a bit, they will win their international match against Abu Dhabi City 115. Oh, Diaz missed a sitter.

With the schedule remaining for all 3 teams, they have to be favourites.

Poor performance from VAR today.

3 guilt edged chances to win it for Liverpool but they just couldnt convert.

If we're being honest they will most likely win the league because they're the best team. City just aren't as good this season.

Arsenal at their best are great, but they'll collapse when the pressure gets too much

Arsenal will finish ahead of them.

We’ll beat them next Sunday and beat them in the next league game. Believe

Today was the only match they were going to drop points. So now we are relying on Arsenal to not drop any points and keep up their GD.

No team can cope with their energy, which is totally down to supreme fitness coaching and not at all due to doping.

Anyone fancy taking one for the team and eating some bats?

Seeing Liverpool’s fixtures compared to Arsenal and City I think they have it in the bag.

Think they're going all out on Klopp's farewell tour. Best case scenario is that they win nothing more this season but tire themselves out for the next season.

I don't buy it. They run maniacally in every single game for 110 minutes (because they get that much injury time in every game) and they're doing it in 4 competitions without the slightest hint of fatigue. Adrenaline doesn't work like that.

I don't know the stats but I'd bet no other team on record runs as much or as hard as them. They were making Guardiola's City look lethargic.

How can anybody, with a sound conscience, support that club? Like what has to happen in your life that you choose to support them? I can’t get my head around it. After everything that club has done people still choose to support them? Absolutely baffling.
City?

Im pretty sure that if you live in Liverpool the city you will either support liverpool or everton. Just as if you are from Manchester you will support Manchester United. Not that difficult to grasp.

The Klopp farewell tour will release some special powers for those Liverpool players...

I like it’s still close, I want them to lose the league by a single point again. Imagine that Diaz goal against Tottenham being the actual reason you didn’t win the league.

Once again, the paranoia in here is comical.

They have the most injuries by far and still have to go away to United and Everton. It doesn’t matter how poorly those two teams are performing, they can always turn up and disrupt a Liverpool title challenge. They have both done exactly that in recent years.

The title is a two horse race now between ourselves and City. That’s not showing any disrespect towards Liverpool. This was supposed to be a year of rebuilding and they managed to reach the top of the league, despite a ton of absences. They’ve also been very hard done by in terms of refereeing at crucial times.

Told you City will win it, by hook or by crook.
The word Michael Oil-iver is doing rounds on the internet.
This league officiating is tragic.
Too much money floating around not to get dirty.

Two horse race? When city beat you at the Etihad and Liverpool go top after beating Brighton? Will it still be a two horse race? Come on now, drop the arrogance.

But if you were from Liverpool and born into a Liverpool supporting family wouldn’t you at some point realise that you are following the most disgusting football club in the world, no?
Oh boy. The team has you a little wound up at the moment and I get it. What you watched today is something your club who are “ on their way back” can’t dream of playing at this point. So the bitterness rises as a way to cope. Anyway no one swiches teams. You seem to think that’s ok though. What a supporter.

All three teams have a fairly decent run in, but i actually think Liverpool's final three games are the hardest: Spurs, Villa and Wolves. Arsenal have us but that won't be much of a big deal with the way we play and i doubt we'll be motivated. City have an easy run in in May too.

I think the mask has slipped with that chap, He's a Liverpool supporter and trying to play the poor mouth when it's title that is Liverpool's to lose.

I think Arsenal at their best season this season have been the best side in the league, but some won't trust them fully until they they go and win it.

Liverpool's schedule looks incredibly easy. I feel like City will run out of steam and their squad isn't as good as the prior years. Haaland's also not converting his chances as much.

You'll play against Spurs, United and City away... and have home games against Chelsea & Aston Villa which can always make things messy for you. If Arsenal gets 9 out of 15 points in these 5 games, they should be happy.

Arsenal has the worst fixture of these 3, will be truly surprised if they finish at top-2.. The meltdown will probably will begin with Porto game and title hopes will be gone with the game against City end of March..

It's not really about the data and the eye test at this point. For all of their good play up to this point, they're only 1pt off and only have last season as experience in this situation. If it was them v City, I'm backing City every day. In a three horse race though, not sure. Pressure's going to be high on everyone.

That's fair. I do think it's fair to question if they can get over the line. Until they do so, people will always doubt them.

I picked them to win the league before the season, so I'll stick with them(also hoping they win it obviously so City/Pool don't  ).

It's about keeping players fit and healthy and being mentally strong.

Even games against relegation fodder at home or teams with nothing to play for can be hard in a title run in.

In the treble year, we nearly stuffed it up against Spurs who had only pride to play for at Old Trafford but fought tooth and nail. Teams want to upset the applecart and most sides in the Premier League are good enough to seize on nerves.

We've seen this season how hard Luton can be especially on their own stomping ground. No game is easy.

My mate used to run around the park in a full Liverpool kit and switched to United when ferguson won his first title...

Would this potential Liverpool title as well as their last one be the two most impressive league titles in football history as they did it against a cheat code and not a normal team?
