I don;'t think so. Houllier will be back in February and Gary Mac will be our next manager IMO - but not before GH has finished the job he came here for.

Cisse would probably do that, so would Gomes IMO.

Probably would be two I would go for, don't know about Kanoute?

houllier and guy roux go back a long way - and houllier is also good friends with hamel, the chairman of auxerre.

all of which means feck all really, but there is no fecking way on earth that you can claim manyoo have first refusal on mexes and cissé - it's laughable.

oh, and one other thing - mexes and cissé are both products of the french development school at bleufontaine which was run by.....jacques crevoisier.

Put that in your pipe Manc Delusionaries!!! and smoke it

;)

No way Cisse will join the mancs. He's not going to get many games in a negative team that only plays one striker. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Broing boring mancs...playing 5 in midfield and 1 up front...they're a disgrace to football

;)

It's Thommo MOT - everyone in the know is clued up on that one. He's after total control of Liverpool - people like Fowler were hampering that dream. Next will be Owen to Lazio for 25m. Owen is "to Liverpool" for Thomo. Fair price for a one trick pony IMHO.

So you'd be expecting what 8m for your one trick pony? <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

He's many more tricks up his sleeve than the "pacey" Michael Owen softlad, but yes 8 - 10 would be fair I'd say. Why do you think you should pay us more? Say the full 11 you received for Fowler?

So what other tricks does Beckham have then Dunce, sorry Dans?

You meant Beckham!?

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> @ the clueless tw@t

If you think that MO is a one trick pony then why does everyone else value him at 50 million+

The only trick Michael Owen has is being the best in the business...

I'd say 25m was about fair at todays inflated market prices Davey, although I'd hesitate to pay that much for someone so injury prone and knowing of one trick only.

Well lets firstly say he is vastly superior to Crespo, who cost 37 million...add to that he is favourite for european player of the year and is ONLY 22...50 million is the going rate. He is twice as good as ruud van knobblyknees anyway...
;)

25m? hehehehe you gotta be kidding.

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

how much did you pay for dodgy Veron?

He's better than Heskey and "Jari", that's for sure.

Crespo is thrice the player Owen will ever be so in fact I'd say Crespo is undervalued or actually I've overvalued Owen.

Owen is 22 but he'll be finshed by the time he's 27 when he's lost his pace and has no more trick.

I expect you were moaning about his only trick when he put 3 past Germany.

:p

Errr - I was there mate and I wasn't cheering on the Germans, but I was impressed with Owen's pace. German defending was terrible that night though.
