Just like the glory hunter tag for United fans is earnt, the absolute twat tag for Liverpool fans is earnt. Tribalism is half the story, the other half is pool fans acting like it's the 80s whenever they are a decent team.
It's not about the clubs, it's about their fans.

We're going through a transitional phase and letting the kids have their fun after lifting 13 PL titles. Some of them don't seem intent on winning despite nearly 3 decades of irrelevance.
The real point, before you waded in with your pointless post, was that this is a title race with teams competing. There's no reason to 'feel bad' for any team. At least not one that just spent a fortune recently. And not from an actually fecking journalist who supposedly should be neutral.
I think the point is whilst the media seem to want Liverpool to win, the football fans in general seem to not want Liverpool to win it. I think the media underestimate how much Liverpool are disliked by everyone.

Yes KDB has been out for many games but everyone knows City have more than enough quality in depth to cover that position.
There are mitigating circumstances that need to be taken into account before you assess our league performance in relation to our transfer expenditure, that being Jose Mourinho's appalling success rate in the transfer market and overall management of the club.
Had we begun the season with a fully competent manager in charge, rather than the travesty that was Jose Mourinho, things would have been very different I'm sure. Just look at what the relatively inexperienced OGS has achieved in his short tenure.

I would be. The hatred for Liverpool has been seeded so strongly in my childhood when City were a no team. I think it would be similar for many since I don’t know of any period when City were strong enough be called a bigger rival than Liverpool. I would even lose to City if it was Arsenal instead of Liverpool.

To be fair, it's a bit harsh on Chamberlain, who actually was very impressive last season and really surprised me. But yeah, he's not even close to de Bruyne's level, and it's a baffling comparison.
