It would appear that we're his first choice. So if they'll sell at a reasonable price and we actually want him I can't see any competition.

I haven't seen any direct quotes from Mexes and Hofland so am unaware that they exist..
But if they do then it would appear that they're yours if you want them and agree a fee...

1- you will spend all the borrowed money + 10m for 1 player. If you are not broke yet, then soon.
2- If he wants to play for a small/er team and has no ambitions, then we should not be interested, or is it that he thought it will be easier to get in your team and even have it in his contract that you could not drop him(and you are mor likely to give in than us, otherwise why would he choose you?)
