I don't have any favorable views of the Nazi regime politically nor morally. Re: German Imperial Empire. Yes I know all about that. However like you said, German colonialism (some territories in Africa mostly) is nothing compared to how many resources the likes of England, Spain and France were getting from their respective colonies.

That's actually one of the reasons of respect I have for Germany as a nation because they did remain politically and economically competitive in Europe during the colonial ages despite the massive upper hand the other European powers had over them.

Re: Double Standard. Well since I grew up hearing about the British atrocities and the economic drain of India, so yeah I will perhaps always have a deeper emotional reaction to England's colonial past than say Spain or France or Germany's, although I can understand someone from a former French colony having a similar view towards French colonialism. It all depends on the person's personal experience.

I could say the same thing about you but it's not your fault. I don't understand why you're getting so worked up about what a random stranger on the internet thinks or why they like what. Every homo sapiens on this planet has a unique brain and there's no need for you to assume that all these different brains will have the same ideas or experiences as yourself.

I don't need a history lesson because I never made this "...you think that the rise of Nazism was the thing that killed the British Empire..." statement, you did.

Please stop drawing absurd conclusions and making up sentences for me. I have simply drawn a philosophical analogy: Two evils fought against each other and eventually both of them died. One was killed in battle and another fatally wounded from the drawn out fight.

I don't want to continue this discussion either because although I explained how I developed a following for the German players and eventually Bayern, I have zero interest in Germany as a country and am really not into the German NT nowadays.

English football fans should be banned from the World Cup because of their history of hooliganism, according to a leading sports commentator.

In an opinion piece published in The Guardian, journalist James Brown argues that the repeated incidents of violence and disorder by English football fans at major tournaments make it necessary to take drastic action.

"For decades, English football fans have brought shame on their country with their violent and thuggish behavior at major tournaments," Brown writes. "They have fought with rival fans, attacked local residents, and caused widespread destruction. It's time for the authorities to take a stand and ban them from future World Cups."

Brown points to the notorious incidents of violence by English fans at the World Cup in France in 1998 and the European Championship in Belgium and the Netherlands in 2000 as examples of the need for action. He also cites the more recent clashes between English and Russian fans at the 2018 World Cup in Russia as evidence that the problem persists.

"Banning English fans from the World Cup may seem like a drastic measure, but it's the only way to protect the safety and security of other fans, local residents, and the tournament itself," Brown concludes. "It's time for the authorities to take a stand and say enough is enough."

I have seen some bad takes on here, but man. Man. This has got to be the worst one. And this is coming from someone in a former colony that gained independence after India.

They did, now the german empire was minuscule compared to the British Empire,

Thinks like that will always be subjective, in the middle east they don't hate Nazi Germany, they mostly hate UK and USA for what they did after WW2 in the region.

I understand where you are coming from. The Nazis were never in the middle east. The Japanese are hated in south east Asia especially among the older generation. Not in the young.
I think the British and now the Americans don't seem to understand that their behavior is extremely disliked in a lot of countries outside of the western hemisphere. It has got nothing to do with freedom.
 
Happy Kane and Southgate didn’t win anything. Would have been nice to win but ah well.
