Let me tell you a thing about Jenas, the comes across as this lovable character on MOTD, but he's the reason why people tend to fall asleep watching. He would make a 12 goal thriller between 2 team challenging for the title sound boring.

I've never cared for the Brazillian NT but I do feel bad for them. They were bad at all today. Just the attack didn't click and one sloppy moment in defence
So you guys just hate all nations now? Would much rather watch Brazil-Argentina than watch another game of Croatia trying to defend their way to another penalty shootout. How anyone but Croatians could root for them over Brazil is beyond me.

Why would anybody root for Brazil over Croatia? Like legitimately is there a single reason?
It’s not even like they have any particularly likeable players (obviously excluding liking players who play for your club) to explain wanting them to do well.

It's funny but I grew up when no one would've laughed at Brazil's exit. 82 was painful.

So you mostly support the favourites in football.
I think this is what I’m enjoying most, I’ve never watched a Croatia game and thought “urgh this is so negative”, they’re not Spain. They picked and chose their moments to break and it largely broke down due to a relative lack of quality up top.
So dancing after a goal is not really in their culture is it? Only when they bully hapless opponents.
I mean, they didn’t.
Getting the ball at the edge of the six yard box a couple of times and hitting it straight at the keeper doesn’t mean you deserve to win. They were poor, and got undone by a very good football team who were underdogs.
I think they offered very little against Japan and in the group stages, but they played way better with a solid match plan today
A compact style with very few chances is a perfectly fine version of football, even if it looks a bit ugly (compared to Brazils naive attacking strategy). Croatia played smartly.

They had five or six big chances, get real. But if you think it's a blast watching Croatia not play football for 120 minutes and then scoring a few penalties, good on you.

I’m genuinely surprised at the hate for Brazil on here, I’m quite fond of them myself, and even more so now with our Brazilian contingent!
