They got shithoused, but it served them right for timewasting for the whole 15 minutes and Neymar putting his penalty last to get the glory.
 
I thought tactically they were poor. Modric at 37 looked like he ran more than most of the Brazil forwards.
 
Croatia had 2 fecking shots in 120mins ffs. And this is supposed to be football, and how the feck Jenas can say on balance its what they deserve ? Are you kidding me , this result just makes it easier for Argentina or Holland to get to the final.

I didn't think they were great either. Unless you allow their attacking prowess to you know, dominate. Eerily similar to 2006 setup. Croatia relied heavily on Modric-Kovacic-Perisic but when they could get into a triangle together, it worked very well.... the talent drop after those 3 clearly shows at times in the opposition half, the others just seem to massively panic on the ball, but the defence is solid. If they had a forward who was genuinely confident on the ball, Croatia wins that in 90 for me.... I mean, still a boring 1-0.

Argentina are favourites on that side.... but it's open.
