De Ligt is too slow on the turn and limited in his passing. If Heaven is as good as advertised then I think Maz. Yoro, Heaven

Agreed.

I think it'd help Maz progress the ball. He's more used to play RB.

Yoro also spoke about how he prefers LCB in his interview with Rio (i think he was talking about playing in a back 4 though). Until we have a left footed CB again I'd persist with Yoro LCB.

De Ligt may not be the world class footballer many reds were lead to believe but at least he is experienced and solid for the most part. The more Yoro didn't play the more fans bigged him up in their heads as this amazing player who would be first choice upon his return. He's clearly not ready for us to be first choice, let alone Real Madrid who he was linked to first.

Crazy take, Yoro is not ready to be a regular for United. Maybe he should play the cup games instead? What's he shown to be better than Mazroui, Martinez, De Ligt or Maguire?

I had Mazaroui in, Marinez is injured and Maguire and De Ligt are too slow

I think his point is that the cup games are more important now as they’re the only way we can get European football as this stage.

Hence Yoro playing the league games while the likes of De Ligt are kept rested for cup games.

If this season is being seen as a free hit by the management, which I assume it is, we should just go Maz - De Ligt - Yoro (RCB,CB,LCB) in preparation for next season with eyes on replacing Maz with someone rapid and more of a natural CB with a decent pass on them. You can swap Maguire in for De Ligt but I feel like you can't have a 3 with both De Ligt and Maguire as its too easy to exploit.
 
In a season where we are playing for nothing.

I would rather our high potential young defender gets a taste for the league. How else will he get “ready”?

Wouldn’t say we’re playing for nothing. Still fa cup and Europa league to win.
