Left 4 Dead demo

The co-op campaign is brilliant, but the real meat of the game is in Versus. It's absolutely fantastic. Not only is playing the infected incredibly fun, but even playing as Survivors is something entirely different when you know you're got actual humans on the other side.

Groovy

I should be on myself at some point. Have a couple of things to do this evening but soon as I'm finished.

All other non completed games will have to wait

360 gtags pls... I'm interested.

'afrocentricity'

Fair enough, if anyone wants a game on 360, add me. Weird, none of my mates have this....

Definitely you should! Particularly if you know someone else who has it, but even if you don't it's great fun to play online. Hell, the co-op campaign with just you and three bots is fun. Once you start playing Versus (the real meat of the game), you just play with random people, it'll still be immense fun.

Here's a hint for all the PC gamers. Use the console to find games. First enable developer console in options, then add -console as a launch option for L4D on Steam (right click on L4D in My Games, properties, set launch options). Then the console should be there when you start the game. Just type openserverbrowser (just start typing it, rather, it'll show up in a drop-down). It'll be under custom games.

No idea why they decided not to include it, but I think there's a good chance they'll patch it back in.

I'll be up for a few games the odd time niMic if you want to add me on Steam....Allthough by 'odd time' i mean i play most nights nowadays hehe

Steam name is Matarese anyways if your ever up for it

ok will do stemmy, i'm downloading it now but won't have it for a couple of hours.

The most replayable game there is

Bloody brilliant...once again hats off to Valve

I'm a Valve fanboy if ever there was one:D they are developers that have concentrated on gameplay and it shows

And, as with TF2, they're going to periodically release more content for it. At least for the PC users, I expect the 360 users will have to pay for a DLC package as with TF2 (not Valve's choice, blame Microsoft).

Oh i'm playing it on the pc mate, mainly because i don't have a 360 and i hate FPS on consoles anyways.

I generally love my games but i don't play them very heavily...with this though i've notched over 16 hours on it since i got it:devil:

It is a pretty spectacular game to be fair. I expect this will turn out much the same as Team Fortress 2 with me. As in, I'll play it very heavily in periods, then not play it for a while, but I'll always come back to it again eventually. In my mind that's the true hallmark for good games. I think Fallout 3 might actually be such a game, at least partly. Crysis Warhead is almost one, the multiplayer is fairly good. And all the CM/FM's :nervous:

What's your Steam ID? We should play a game or two later sometime

i have it on 360, love it, especially versus mode

Yeah, that's all I play now. I do plan on doing the Campaigns with a friend or two later on, on Expert maybe, but right now Versus is quite enough for me, particularly since they found the way to get a proper server browser, so I can find a server with good ping.

Btw, have anyone else who are playing it in Europe found a sudden influx of Russians lately? Namely, 12-year old Russians with annoying voices? I don't know if it's the case on the 360 too (I suspect it is), but it seems I can't find a server without at least one 12-year old Russian in it, typing and talking Russian no matter that there aren't any other Russians.

Funnily...thats 16 hours notched up on Campaign only...i havn't even played versus mode yet i'm enjoying campaign so much....i've a couple of lads from the Caf added and various others so theres allways a campaign game going so havn't even touched Versus yet.

I will eventually of course, but when i fancy a change really i'm having too much fun with Campaign though

Bought this this morning and have been playing it all day. Was supposed to help my Dad clear out his garage today, just going to pretend I forgot :nervous: Brilliant stuff
