Leeds v Newcastle etc

Can't argue with the arithmetic; but I think Liverpool will drop more points than Arsenal between now and the end of the season. Liverpool are in a trough right now but are one of the few teams that could go to Highbury with a realistic hope of a result.

Leeds are a team of thugs, and it is digusting to watch. That said, Duberry's finish was one of the best headers I have seen in a while.

That was a cheap and senseless kick from Mills on Bellamy. The Geordies deserved all three points today.

One thing I didn't understand though was why Bellamy was holding his knee when in fact he was kicked in the foot?

I just saw on t.v. Paolo leave the pitch after West Hams game today..............
WELCOME TO OLD TRAFFORD MR DI CANIO. :)

I thought solano and dyer ran the midfield today.

If becks ever leave, I know who I want for his replacement - that No 8 from the barcodes

Dyer is definitely back. ;)

That guy is <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

I can't see that to be a proper behaviour of a professional. The whole Leeds team played uglily. Needless fouls and small tricks, pushs and tackles. I don't care whether they have been on top of the table. It's simply a shame to see a football TEAM to play uglily as a whole. Unlucky to Leeds fans.

Would you agree that he would make an excellent replacement for beckham if becks moves to italy or spain?

He would indeed, though I would only have Becks about a 10% chance of leaving. How about Dyer at RB....

O'Leary is a bit of a Wenger isn't he. His attitude when confronted with a little adversity isn't very impressive.

Sorry pal, gotta disagree with you on this. Dyer isn't much of a defender ;)

Can't agree. I felt he should have been transfer target no 1 last summer. He would make an excellent replacement for Becks should the worse happen and his versatility and age would , IMO, have made him arguably a better signing then Veron. ( which is not to say he is a better player than Veron )

Saw it at the west ham message board:

Di Canio will leave for 2.4 mil provided he passes a medical on Monday. Roeder didn't want the deal but Paolo wanted to leave.

Dyer is a future star no doubt, but our midfield is already overcrowded. We need to shift our transfer focus to bringing in defenders and strikers before we make any more midfield transfers.

Any official truth to that?
