Leeds Transfers

I notice that as per usual, Mr Grimsdale you completely ignore the post, which merely repeats claims made by yourself.
So the claim now is that the board got Leeds to the CL semis.
The board spoke to the press about Bowyer.

As even you must be aware, most of any board are non-executive, and rely on the expertise of the professionals employed to run the club, the chief of which is.... guess who!
I've never claimed that PR has sole responsibility, but I've not made an arse of myself by claiming all the good stuff for him, and blaming all the negatives on others.
But DOL has gone, several of the players have gone, but Grimsdale clings on.
My only argument has been that as the person at the head of the company as it buried itself in debt, based on a gamble, he should be honest with the fans, and his board, and take the rap he so richly deserves.

Forgive me I have given you more credit thatn you deserve....you really are as thick as your posts suggest.

Where have I said the board got us to the semis?

Re-read what I have said about the financial process then go away and firstly try to understand how a board of directors works and then read the directors of Leeds CV's.

You do make me laugh.

Marching, you rally should'nt let the fact your team is nearly bankrupt, your players are being shipped out, your chairmans a laughing stock and you have the crafty cockney at the helm to get you down.

Look on the bright side.

;)

You're not doing very well here are you Marching?

Perhaps you should get Risdale in to help you out, he's a man who knows what he's doing isn't he?

Softie warned you beforehand, but you dismissed that..

Leeds in financial trouble?

Don't be silly.

Risdale wouldn't allow that to happen...

And he wouldn't sell Ferdinand either

I like to see the scouse cnuts still have a sense of humour even with their team going through the worst run in their history.

yet we've still managed to stay in the top 6, 3 pts out of a CL spot, in 3 cup competitions, and have "managed" to hold on to our best players.

leeds, on he other hand....well, everytime i watched liverpool put in another shite performance over the past 2 months, i thought to myself, "well, it could be worse. look @ leeds..."

that usually cheered me up.

of course, no one on here warned you of this plight months ago, did they? btw, where is softy these days???

it serves you right for being such an arrogant blow-hard.

maybe we'll take kewell off your hands in exchange for the fowler money you still owe us. then you could go out and buy that pedophile kleberson to add to the collection of criminals @ elland rd.

o'leary to sue leeds:

DOL's story is so old mate.

If Woody goes it will, in my opinion, be the biggest blow to Leeds United. I will be seriously pissed off and will be letting the club no my feelings in no uncertain terms.

Whats the point in doing that Marching? There's no one to blame if he's sold, you'd have to blame the shareholders and every board member, will you speak to all of them? ;)

Ridsdale will be to blame if hes sold, they can sell fowler, johnson, kewell, harte, mills, viduka... but not Woody.

He was fast tracked through the youth system to provide cover for the injured Molenaar...

Venables is growing increasingly annoyed at chairman Ridsdale's policy of asset stripping.
Mirror
An angry Terry Venables has warned the Leeds board against selling Jonathan Woodgate to Newcastle.
Guardian

Does this ring a bell marching? Shades of the last days of DOL?
Or are they all wrong?
Remember marching, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

Woodgate is such a good player it would reveal a serious lack of ambition if Leeds sell him. IMO Woodgate together with Robinson stopped us winning the game at Elland Road earlier in the season. I would have thought you'll be looking for a new manager again marchin' if Grimsdale sells Woodgate.

I agree with you mate - and I would not blame TV one bit.....it is rumoured he will walk if Woody goes.

Selling Woodgate is the height of stupidity...Bowyer yes....we have enough midfielders and he has done nothing since his trial...Dacourt yes...he was in and out of the side ever since he arrived....Keane maybe...we did have a fit Bridges at the time....Rio yes....at that price it would have been daft and we had a Woody/Matteo partnership planned...BUT WODDY NEVER!....he, along with Smith/Robbo/Milner and a few other youngsters on the fringes of 1st team action is the future of the club.
