Leeds (dirty thugs) discussion

Can't wait to batter them home and away and send them back down.

Another United Chelsea can lose to to add to their collection of defeats against Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle and West Ham.

Sadly they might even stay up, good manager and setup all geared for this. Hoped it wouldn't come but some investors see them as a big club to wake up.

Instead of worrying about having an extra hard game added it could also help strengthen our own team when they face Leeds fans and what we mean to them. These games helped Fergie sharpen the team.

The only man who could play for those three clubs and not even be a candidate for hate figure on here. A football version of the Lighthouse Family, playing in front of a beige coloured set.

I don't have any bad feelings about Milner either, just think he looks like he should be ploughing a field somewhere so good on him in some weird way.

Interested to see how they do.

Imagine Bielsa with his worldwide reputation will use his contacts to pick up some decent players on loan. They certainly need more than Bamford upfront.

They'll surprise a few with their football like Sheffield United did but at championship level they miss so many chances in games they dominated so will need to be far more clincial in premier league.

I think they have a commitment to buy a few of the players they have on loan so i can't see there squad improving massively with their likely transfer budget.

They’re gonna be Sheiked / financially doped. Yet another nail in the coffin of financial doping. Football is even more fvcked than before when City decimated it

Hate this lot with a passion, remember one of there last season's in the premier league at Old Trafford. Usual police escort to the ground and some tit of a Leeds fan thought it would be a good idea to square up to a copper on a horse. Horse decided he's had enough and brought his jaw/chin straight down on the blokes head. Needless to say he went down like a sack of shite ...sparko. horrible fans horrible team!!
What an amateur

What's their defenders like?

Not too worried about Leeds being back, they won't bother us.

Can't wait to see how Bielsa does though. Some of his side's have been incredible so it's going to be fascinating to see how he does in the prem.

“Can’t wait” or “shitting it”?

I like their full backs, think Ayling will do well in premier league. Alioski/Douglas on the left aren't bad either although Wolves let Douglas go as soon as they went up two years ago.

Their best CB is on loan from Brighton so interested what happens there. Brighton are stacked at CB but I doubt they'd want to help out a potential relegation rival by loaning him again. Liam Cooper alongside him will be found out in the premier league.

Kiko Casilla is pretty average in goal aswell although the Frenck kid that came in to replace him from his ban did well.

They're in the same boat as us and Norwich when we came up, some decent players in midfield and out wide but don't get the core positions right with experienced internationals (CB, central midfield, out wide and upfront) and it's a massive struggle to stay up.

Bring it on. Still need revenge for the ridiculous FA Cup defeat at home (think it was 2010 but not sure)

They're a welcome addition to the PL IMO. Might even spice it up a bit.

No I'm really, really interested. Bielsa has never been a great winner, so I'm pretty confident we're not going to see a Wolves situation. But he's one of the most tactically interesting coaches in the last two decades. I haven't had a chance to see much of them in the championship, but I'm going to watch as much of them as I can next season.

My (not particularly informed) prediction would be that they will start really strong and wow everybody, but by the end of the season they're flirting with relegation, as his teams tend to tire massively, and the prem is just a much hire standard when it comes to the pace of the game.

I think Bielsa with a well financed team - which he’ll get this window - is a scary prospect. If they make the expected signings and keep players like Phillips we could definitely see a Wolves situation in the next couple of years.

Can't understand lads who want them back.
Ever been to Elland Road?
They fecking hate us more than the scouse.

Where is the poster marching on together?

I think Biesla/Leeds struggled with 2 games a week in the Championship at times. Playing only once a week will help them.

I don't think they're one of those clubs that will go straight back down to the Championship. They've got a good set up, rich owner, big fan base, a good manager.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do a Wolves/Sheffield next season and finish near the European spots.

On a side note, crazy how competitive the Prem is becoming.

Not thrilled about this. These cnuts always played their skins out against us no matter how low they dropped, and I’d bet anything that our players have not even 1/10th the motivation they have in these matches. Put Bielsa in the mix (2012 vs Bilbao still give me shivers) and it’s even worse.

Hope they got sent straight back down.

Ergh , cnuts. At least like Liverpool, there promotion has been somewhat anti climatic. No big celebrations, pitch invasions etc. I’d have thrown up at the sight of it.

Oh Elland Road, is full of sheep, Oh Elland Road is full of sheep...

Just woke up to see Leeds are back in the Prem. Gosh we need to get fans back in stadiums ASAP. That's 2 cracking games loading. Can't wait to batter them home and away then watch them go back down!

Dirty, dirty Leeds, the ol' enemy return then, great stuff and a bigger club than City as well to boot, spices up next season nicely.

Just need Milwall to make it through the play-offs and next season blood will flow in the streets of the Prem....

Manchester united v/s Leeds united

Wow!. That has such an old school rivalry feel to it. I have missed that

With all these money bags coming in, these rivalries have become rare watch. I just hope we have fans back in the stadium by the time we face them.

I think this is it, for some getting passed the hatred side of things is too blinding for them

where as in reality, Leeds being back in the mix means big big fixtures, is this not what folks want in competitive sport??

as a neutral I’d much prefer to sit down and watch Man Utd vs Leeds rather than Man Utd vs West Brom.........boring

I also want to see N’Forest come up too, I may have just vomited typing that out but another big footballing name coming up would be great

More rivalries is always a welcome addition to the prem. Especially one I don't know much about. Is it worse than Pool?

If allowed in stadiums next season, this is the game I am looking forward to the most I think.

Not in sporting terms but their fans have one of the worst reputations in English football. They’re in the group of Millwall and Cardiff in those terms.

United’s traditional rivalries were 1. Liverpool 2. Leeds 3. City

Safe to say City have overtaken Leeds now.
