They badly need a clinical finisher.
History going to repeat itself for Leeds, went tits up this time last season, now 4 defeats in 5. Have to question the players mentality

They should have given Nketiah more chances even though he doesn’t get through the work that Bamford does.
As Pep found out at City, sometimes you need to adapt your footballing ideas to make room for a goal scorer. It can make all the difference in tight games.
Mitrovic would be perfect for them.
Think it's 15 times in the league they've failed to score more than one goal now.
Yeah, his teams have historically been shit at putting the ball in the back of the net.
What I was referring to was him trying to phase out aguero for a harder working forward early on, only for aguero to prove to him the value of someone who can consistently find the back of the net.
Who knows where Leeds would be if they had a striker who can get 25 in the league but maybe doesn’t get through the workload of Bamford.
Goals change games, especially in a league like the Championship where anyone can beat anyone.
We saw that with Eddie Ntketih. Had an excellent goals to minutes ratio but Bielsa just refused to start him until he was about to be recalled by Arsenal on account that in his view Patrick Bamford was much better fit for the team's attacks in final third.
Bamford is o.k but he's not a player who's going to fire you to promotion like Mitrovic. They were linked with Che Adams and Dwight Gayle in last window aswell.
Think Pablo Hernandez getting injured over xmas and losing form has really hurt Leeds aswell as he's an underrated player. Kalvin Phillips also missed the last three suspended.
They certainly need a result at Brentford.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...silla-gets-eight-game-ban-for-racist-languageLeeds have criticised the FA’s disciplinary process after their goalkeeper Kiko Casilla received an eight-match suspension for racially abusing an opponent
Casilla is unlikely to appeal but on Friday night the former Real Madrid player maintained his innocence, claiming he was “devastated” and did not believe the verdict was “a true reflection” of the incident.
An independent three-person FA regulatory panel found the 33-year-old Spaniard had racially abused Jonathan Leko during a game at Charlton in September.
It was alleged Casilla used the n-word at a corner but, unusually, the FA has delayed releasing its “written reasons” until next week. The goalkeeper consistently denied the charge and was supported at the hearing by evidence from Eddie Nketiah, the Arsenal forward then on loan at Leeds.
Kiko Casilla has just been given an 8-match ban for using racist language.

I'm not a racist, but corners do all look the same to me."It was alleged Casilla used the n-word at a corner "
At a corner; "someone mark the black one" in Spanish.
Still time for them to bottle it!Seem to be well over there slump, 4th win and clean sheet in a row
So he said "Negro"? (This is black in Spanish for the uninitiated.. as the color, not a person)
Heaven forbid he use his own langauge. A descriptive action? I hate racists to the bone, but I'm struggling to see the harm in this one

It was apparently worse than that, according to the FA reportSo he said "Negro"? (This is black in Spanish for the uninitiated.. as the color, not a person)

It is alleged by the FA that immediately thereafter KC audibly directed at JL the words ‘you fecking nigger’. In these Written Reasons we refer to that alleged use of those words as ‘the Incident’.

Suarez did not just say negro and neither did Casilla. You don't get an 8 match ban for that.Isn’t this what Evra got called though by Suarez? My friend who was Living in South America for 3 years at that point in some village 2 days drive from the nearest city still says ‘negro’ in South America is a friendly term used by everyone and nothing like our interpretation....
