Lee Kang-In

Can someone put some proper spacing in the thread title please, it took me a while to realise his name isn't Kang-In.

Ohh, it actually is Kang-In. Well that's confusing in a transfer forum.

If we ever sign him and choose to sell him the thread will be Lee Kang-In (Out)

Good technical player, but he has zero pace, explosiveness and stamina. For those reasons alone, I'd be against signing him.

The caf would have a field day with him

Mentally he is quite strong. Also getting a bit unfairly treated by Luis Enrique atm as he got benched frequently after games where he shined. He still delivers when getting played. Also two years ago he had big physicality issues but it was impressive to see how he handled that. People said he can't play on the wings or as a CM but he showed he can do both. He's not a player you'd expect 20 goals, but with a CF like Gyokeres or Osimhen, he would shine with assists. He's great at set pieces, too.
I havent looked too closely at all his highlights, but he does look very versatile and his vision and precision of pass / cross looks outstanding.
Could he play as LWB or the playmaking #8?
He also looks to have a bullet of a shot.

I like the idea of the signing. PSG are proving to be a good market and if its a reasonable fee he fits the ‘buy when low’ every one craves for but never want as ‘is he good enough’.

Also I get the banter, but its a bit fecked up for half a 2 page transfer thread to be taking the piss out of an asian name, because heck it isnt what your used to.

He suits the RAM position best

Technical works though. Bernardo silva isn’t exactly rapid. He’s very good technically though.

Bernardo Silva joined a fully functioning team with Sane and Sterling providing explosive pace.

We aren’t a team and we have zero pace out wide.

In my 2 cents I have seen them both play even in person, I would say that Kubo is a more traditional winger/attacking midfielder with flair and attacking outlet - Lee Kang is more similar to Bernardo Silva and I could see Pep using him in the CM even because he has the engine and grit to do a lot dirty work and run for days as Bernardo has done.
Would he pair with Ugarte the centre?

Honestly, no idea. He is pretty small and not strong, but as I see him very similar to Bernardo Silva, Pep has played him a lot in the middle. In our formation maybe not.

Sounds like he's a good fit for one of the 10 roles? Especially if he's comfortable in the middle and drifting wide.
