In all seriousness I can see more and more of clubs owing so much money that it will be impossible for them to continue and not just in Italy.
A lot of Italian clubs just followed each other with the fear of being left behind, spend,spend,spend when the gates were falling,falling,falling. To much emphasis on overseas players and not enough internal development.
A lot of blame must lie with the playing system that developed to ensure the team did not lose after spending wads of cash that was not there.
An abysmal European campaign that has left Italy at the bottom of the pile is further evidence of the demise of Italian football.
Having said that the signs are already evident that other countries are not far behind and rather than gloat over the issue should be looking at their own system to ensure the same does not happen.
Point in case, Liverpool. Not a real entertaining side, efficient, yes. They will get a way with it for now, other sides will try their method and before you know it we will have the same situation.
Football is not in a real healthy state right now, not just Italy but worldwide. Take heed I say and plug the dam before it bursts.
