Erin Cuthbert please. From what I’ve seen she doesn’t seem to get that much game time but having seen her a few times and watched her for Scotland get her in.
Best female talent I've seen.
Why the feck did we sell her then?If she stays injury free she can dominate women's football.
She's from London and claimed homesickness. She didn't want to stay. Her contract expired next season (they're always short in woso). Threw her toys out the pram a bit to leave as well. Why the feck did we sell her then?
We are also in a shambolic state at women's football. She's from London and claimed homesickness. She didn't want to stay. Her contract expired next season (they're always short in woso). Threw her toys out the pram a bit to leave as well.
Meh. The new coach, assistant and the 5 new players are all pretty good/acceptable. Do think a first team forward is needed as well though. We are also in a shambolic state at women's football.
Fair enough , can't really keep an unhappy player. Like other posters have said though not sure we are trying to be super competitive with women's football. She's from London and claimed homesickness. She didn't want to stay. Her contract expired next season (they're always short in woso). Threw her toys out the pram a bit to leave as well.
More so that it seems our ownership completely abandoned any interest in the womens' side after one season and we seem to have terrible infrastructure for it. The new coach is fine but we managed to push out one of the most promising managers in the women's game. Embarrassing treatment of our ladies and you have to wonder whether the Glazers only added the team because they thought it'd be good for PR and fans had been complaining that a club of our stature didn't have one.Meh. The new coach, assistant and the 5 new players are all pretty good/acceptable. Do think a first team forward is needed as well though.
Only one I was hoping wouldn’t leave was AT, but with her fiancée moving over by here it’s understandable.
We could have qualified for the Champions League and she'd still have left. Wouldn't say her leaving has much to do with our state - one of the main reasons she came in the first place was because her brother was on loan to Wigan and the father wanted them both together. They're very close and she actually played for Chelsea in her youth career. Was inevitable she'd return there when possible and she had the opportunity to now.We are also in a shambolic state at women's football.
Fair comment. Can we close this thread it hurts too much.
