Landon Donovan

6: Admit Mexico is better than the US, apologise for pissing on Estadio Jalisco, and promise never to talk badly about our country again.

You know? not even if he does that. feck the cnut.

 I love how you are still mad that he took a piss at the Estadio Jalisco. What has he said that was bad about Mexico? Sure there are little digs here and there but I am sure some Mexican team players have taken shots at the US at some point.

Yeah I'm just finding excuses for slating him, hehe. But he has indeed taken some low bows at our country, no doubt, especially during the 2003-2006 period.

We are angels

Also to MUFC07, what do you think about the new qualifying format for Concacaf?

Mmmmm, that's a good question. I think that in theory it's more useful than the old one, but we'd have to see it applied to practice. CONCACAF officials are doing a lot of work, or have been lately, both the that CONCAChampions, which btw I think it is still crappy, and the new qualifying format. Problem in this area is that, no matter how much you want things to change and make them more competitive, Mexico, the USA, and Costa Rica and Honduras are ahead of the rest.

I just think it will suck that it will be very difficult for the USA and Mexico to play each other during the qualifying.

I hope that concacaf and conmebol put together a tournament sometime soon. It could make for some really good games. Here is a link to a Grant Wahl column about it: CONCACAF/CONMEBOL tournament would work - Grant Wahl - SI.com

I'll just put this here even though Steve Nash is the star of this commercial.

He was for a couple of games. Then he got dropped

He got dropped because Moyes was smart enough to know that he was heading back to the US so he had to bed in the talent that would be there to finish off the season. I recall him having one game when he was off the mark, but hardly was he terrible for them.

Like Marquez attacking Cobi Jone's skull.

MUFC07 - Donovan will apologize after Marquez allows Onyewu to have a running start and elbow his skull.

You forget Ekeke has an extensive collection of scouting notes and video of every player on Earth. ;)

Marquez is a cnut, but at least he is handsome.

I'm running out of arguments here.

You just let me hate Donovan. It's like our hate for Gerrard.

At least Marquez doesn't burst into tears at a press conference after his team has won at the World Cup.

What a spastic, typical American attention-seeking, overly emotional bullshit.

Devil's advocate, got your back MUFC07 etc etc.

After what England did, they should have been the ones weeping uncontrollably.

Our hate for Gerrard is entirely logical.

My hate for Donovan is the same.

We hate Gerrard, but that doesn't change the fact that we've got some cnutish players in our squad.

About this, yeah, I agree, we will now only face each other in the USA and sometimes in Mexico, which actually sucks, is one of the "derbys", if I may say so, that I enjoy the most, to be fair.

Holden had tweeted :

Big game vs sunderland tom, early kick-off! anyone waking up early in the States to watch on espn???

Donovan replies :

andondonovan Checkout lady: "Would you like paper or plastic?"
Buyer: "Oh, it doesn't matter, I'm bi-sacksual" Bahahahahahaha

Actually, with Hernandez up front, that may be enough to put Mexico over the top of the U.S. in terms of the national football team.

...NAAAAAHH.

Our football team is better, and so's our country. :D

(Don't actually know enough about the current status of Mexico's youngsters other than Hernandez to speak confidently here, but I do think we're on an upswing right now, as our "veterans" like Howard, Donovan and Dempsey are still in their primes, and I'm seeing a lot of improvement in players like Holden and Spector, and hopefully some of the younger defenders we have coming up will keep us from fielding such shit back fours like we have)

I think the US is slowly but surely improving no doubt about it, it could probably do it a lot faster if Bradely wasnt the manager.
