You are a horrible person. This league has and had hundreds of POCs in the last decade. Yes, there was always racism here and there, when Alves got a banana thrown at him during a corner for example, but nobody, not one player I can remember was as systematically harassed as Vinicius is. He constantly provokes, insults and dives on the pitch. Even worse than Neymar back in the days. He instults not only the opponent players and fans, but the refs too. And those are not minor insults:
https://www.besoccer.com/new/son-of...us-insults-ref-during-real-madrid-win-1230655
And that's not an individual case. His provocations are also shabby and vile. He tells his opponents and their fans often enough that they're worse than him and they should be relegated. Just watch him leaving the pitch yesterday after a deserved red card.
I repeat, no other POC player ever received such a harassment he does. Yes, the league has a racism problem, but which league hasn't? The PL just removed those kind of people out of the stadium into the pubs by making the tickets unaffordable for most of the lower social class, where racism breeds.Every league has and had problems with racism now and then, because that's the nature of humans. Especially if certain people gather and emotions are envolved. Some more, some less of course.
Is Vinicius a victim of racism? Yes he is. Has he a vile and disgusting character, that provokes such behaviour from certain people? Yes, he has.
Crazy that this is happening in 2023 in fecking western Europe. Valencia fans are disgusting. Is there any part of Spain where this doesn't happen?

For any doubters, is this tonto too?
There's no doubt what was going on, he was even greeted with it. Even before the match has started he gets this. He really asked for it here, it's definitely his actions that cause it, look at him getting off that bus all cocky... /s
There's no defending this, none.
Or this.

@Niemans, since you used to three posts to dispell the accusations, could you now spare one to acknowledge that the racism did happen and this isn't after all a campaign to discredit La Liga?
This is for Barcelona fans who are pretending that they are unaware:
Here fans kindly offered bananas to Dani Alves
And here Eto'o leaving for no reason.
Touchy much? If you read this thread and the Vinicius thread, you'd see Barcelona fans have been particularly strong with the whataboutism in this particular case. It's a response to that - by someone who isn't even a Real Madrid fan and never mentioned them in his post. So your response here makes no sense. Why Barcelona fans?
Neymar was constantly insulted, Madrid fans always said that he was provoking. I mean, not even talking to the people in the stadium, he was provoking it himself by trying "lambrettas" during the game.

Santiago Bernabeu is the only stadium in Spain that was closed by UEFA due to racists chants
https://bleacherreport.com/articles...dium-closure-for-fans-racism-vs-bayern-munich
And if you look for information about the biggest racism scandals in Spain, Bernabeu has a prominent space on it.
Probably the most known, "negro, cabron, recoge el algodon", something like "nigg..., assh..., pick up the cotton" took place in bernabeu.

barcelona (laporta) expelled the ultras (boixos nois) in 2003. they are criminals. probably his best action as barca president. real madrid did the same with ultra sur (despicable people too) in 2014, only over a decade.
2 weeks ago santiago bernabeu were making chants against pep calling him junkie and faggot. the chant was obviously prepared as it was very elaborated.
they are applauding valverde for punching baena in the face while waiting in the bus although what valverde said has been proved to be false (after careful review, no images emerged in the moment valverde said his son was insulted).
a few weeks ago in the euroleague playoffs (basketball) they initiated a fight because they were losing where one of the players (yabusele) bodyslams a rival who happened to be there and injured him for the rest of the season, and he was lucky. response? more applauses in the next game (only 5 games suspension in the competition).
all these events in the span of 1 month.
the constant bashing of anything that smells "blaugrana" and the constant "virtue" of anything that smalls white is actually sickening.
And ever since there have been no reported cases of racist abuse in those stadiums by those fans to my knowledge. Thus proving that racism is very much a problem in Spain and that it is in fact possible to do something about it when it comes to kicking it out of stadiumsbarcelona (laporta) expelled the ultras (boixos nois) in 2003. they are criminals. probably his best action as barca president. real madrid did the same with ultra sur (despicable people too) in 2014, only over a decade.

The fact you’ve even tried to justify the racism he’s received is disgusting. You have just shown who you are. This league has and had hundreds of POCs in the last decade. The irony is a Barca fan who not long ago adored Suarez is calling Vinicius Junior a vile and horrible person.Who cares?
Plus it is not as if La Liga has a shortage of cnuts anyway. If that would be the trigger, every second player should be harassed by fans.
Amico, that's a very old chant, inherited from Ultra Sur. At least it was sung before the Copa del Rey, although I don't know if it was at the Bernabéu(probably too)And ever since there have been no reported cases of racist abuse in those stadiums by those fans to my knowledge. Thus proving that racism is very much a problem in Spain and that it is in fact possible to do something about it when it comes to kicking it out of stadiums
Links?
And what do you do in that case, when half the stadium sings it? Not only in the Bernabéu but in any stadium. Close the stands? Messi's chants were also in unison, or Guti's or Cristiano's.Thanks. Yes that's disgusting and unacceptable, and something the club REALLY needs to stamp out. Pathetic
Dispiriting to see

Today(curiously) four members of the Frente Atlético (the ones who hung Vini on a bridge) were arrested.
Stop the game, close the stadium, fine the club(a BIG fine, something that actually hurts), and give a warning in case of recidiviness in the form of massive point deduction/exclusion from european competition --> automatic relegation, etc...And what do you do in that case, when half the stadium sings it? Not only in the Bernabéu but in any stadium. Close the stands? Messi's chants were also in unison, or Guti's or Cristiano's.
Something very scandalous had to happen for things to start changing. I hope these measures are not the only ones and more are to follow in the future.
What's happening to Vini is absolutely disgusting, and the Barsa apologists can do one - absolutely abhorrent.
Ancelotti is right, La Liga is operating with outdated protocols. Condemning racism is not enough as it does nothing to prevent it happening again.

Vini red card has been retired and a Mestalla stand closed for 5 games
Also don't know if it's just me but the Barcelona fans on here seem to have had some truly awful takes in the past couple of years.
I'll tell you what's happening. The international outcry, specially from Brazil and English speaking media reached a level that the government must intervene. The judicial authorities must have known for a while who the frente Atletico hooligans were but only after the shitstorm are they moving
Spain wants to organize the World Cup in 2030. If that vote is held tomorrow they'd lose by a landslide. They have to be seen to be doing something drastic.
Spain as a country cannot have the likes of Tebas and Rubiales as their public face on this. They're too old or too stupid to understand that world has changed and younger generations are going to stand up to racism and scream to the heavens when enough is enough.
It's the stand where their ultras are located, which was also the stand where Vinicius was pointing at one particular person before eventually getting sent off. RFEF took this action because of the referee's report, who acknowledged that multiple people in that stand were racially abusing Vinicius. Is that supposed to be aimed at a particular subgroup of Valencia supporters with a certain history? If not, then it won't force change quickly enough.
