La Liga 2018/19

The management can not accept that players decide something like this, and certainly not in that way. If Perez accept that, it will be very bad for Real. It remembers me Inter Milan when the president was Moratti.
Of course. The problem with Conte is that Florentino doesn't really want him, he's the main candidate because he's available. Flo wants to go for Pochettino in the summer and doesn't want to be tied up to Conte in case Conte doesn't do so well that he can't be let go. That, plus conte's situation with chelsea

Sergio Ramos words were blown out of proportion, and it's not like he said anything weird. Plus, it's still a midseason change. Can't ignore the players opinion, we don't have the chance to replace them just yet

Think you are keeping Solari until the summer, then go for Pocho.

I think that's what they will do too. They will not want to pay big bucks to a manager they then fire in June. I think Florentino (what a massive cnut that man is) might go all in for Pochettino then.

Pochettino has reached his peak at Tottenham. Can't go any further with the players he has at his disposal so it's the right time for a change.

I think for a long term manager who expects to be in the game for a decade more or so they should avoid Real Madrid. Barca's job will come up at some point, United will, City will once Pep gets bored etc; Wait for the smoke to clear, get paid elsewhere and have tons of monkey to spunk under a more patient club. The reference currently at Madrid will be based on the 3 CL titles back to back. Nobody is going to do that and the law of average suggests they may have a fairly barren spell. Poch goes there, say he wins the league by 2020, if he's not won the CL by 2021 he's out and I think it's harder to gain your mojo back after going through Madrid.

Being Real manager is just the toughest job in the world. You need to be mentally strong to deal with it.

I dont think its the toughest job to have success in, just the toughest job to stay in. You're given plenty of money and players which should be enough to win something. But the problem is that winning something doesnt mean you stay. So its mostly just a problem to stay there for more than a short period

I meant that there is massive pressure on every Real manager not only to win, but to play well as well.

I don’t think the playing well aspect is as important as it is at Barca. I agree in that it’s a tough job to actually get the board and fans on your side but you are given a better squad, better money and are the #1 destination for all footballers so there’s things that are “easy” about it.

Ekeke nailed it with the “it’s the toughest job to stay in” comment.

Pretty much forced. Marcelo, Varane, Carvajal and Vallejo are injured and Isco still just got back from a month long injury layoff. He's taking as few risks as possible

Boring first half. Odriozola tried it a couple of times and now Bale had a chance but a very apathetic game.
I would play Ceballos instead Modric
and Vini instead Bale

Great minds think alike :D

Bad first half. Started well then got progressively worse. Need to sign defenders asap. And our positioning is all over the place. And why is Solari insisting with Modric behind the strikers :wenger: it didn't work with Lopetegui, why should it work now. He shouldn't play that high, period.

I do not know what is the problem. After Melilla (I know , 2B) I expected something else.
Pintus is a trainer, not a wizard. He cannot improve the stamina of the players in a few days. He has a hard job to do, and probably in the first month the team can suffer because of the tiredness caused by workouts.
You are right. Pintus is not a wizard but today it seems that they lack intensity. Valladolid are very comfortable in the field.
¿Y Vinicius pa quando?
You will see him in the second half.
You will be so amazed that you´ll forget that Cris plays today.

Valladolid almost again.
This game has become very open. Glad I stuck with it.

They need to bring Vinicius on ffs, it's about time. How bad does it need to get before he gets a chance?

Valladolid very unlucky to not have scored here.

Yeah, I don't get it. He's waiting to be unleashed IMO.

Didn't take a genius to figure out he needed to play... still can't believe it took this long.
Agreed. At least he tries shit. And he's got some real pace to burn. Bale was useless today.

We're still all over the shop tactically

Very very lucky for Madrid tonight, this probably means they'll now go on to keep Solari until the end of the season.

Don't know why Ramos insists on pens. Let Benzema take it and rebuild his confidence.
