La Liga 2018/19

barca clearly can and have always been able to be got at and i think we’ll score a couple of goals here and there.

as for us.....

Witness the Spring 2019 resurrection of Suárez.

And Messi is GOAT enough to inspire his mates to get a 4-4 after a mostly awful game.

Ter Stegen is out of form. Worrying.

Umtiti should be sold this summer. Guy refused to get surgery in autumn 2018. Now he's slow, out of shape, out of focus and lacks confidence.

Tbh, you can't really blame the guy much. He lacks match sharpness and the games now are too important to give him to get back to his level. He's way too much of the season to not be rusty and useless this season.

He has been injured for sure, but what is frustratng is that he looked so good for France in the times he played for this recently and for Barca who looked like he couldn't care less.

Ever since the contract negotiations he fell off a cliff even before his injury. Which is a shame, because there was a time where he was comfortably a top 5 CB in the world.

If not for Ter Stegen Barca lose that game 8-4.

He was hung out to dry on several occasions as Lenglet and Umtiti had zero chemistry.

Bilbao finally get a dodgy VAR call.

Brilliant penalty by Munain.

Was it dodgy? Well it was about time one went for them. Good win.

Moses Simon clearly got the ball although I only saw the replay and commentators were saying he trod on Muniain's foot first. There was also a marginal offside on one of the replays.

Bilbao only 4 points off Getafe now, Garitano has taken a ridiculous number of points since taking over in December, probably not far off what OGS has done.

He's done really well. They have also had 13 draws, if only they had turned some of them into wins.

Madrid were awful. The kind of game so bad that you want to sell half the team in summer.

It's good that it's becoming evident now rather than the team going on a purple patch now with Zidane's arrival and then finding out next season half the team needs to go.

The worse you do for the rest of the season, the more you'll spend.

Would be so boring if Valencia get the 4th spot considering they took half the season off to try to break drawn games in a season record. Looking likely now though.

I think there are several players that will be on all the lists whatever they do. In the end maybe the decision will depend on the correct offer.
Is Lucas Vasquez your Lingard? He always seems to play!
Yes, I think I've heard that comparison more times.
He defends, fights, cover and can be electric. A worker in the middle of queens.
In the role of playing 20 minutes, give air to the team and cause something different, is a good option, but this year played too much.

That guy knows how to perform black magic. There is no other explanation at this point.
I agree with @carvajal, he's a good impact sub and a solid worker. But he can't be a starter. He's played waaay too much this season

Cripes, what happened to Kroos's first touch. Then Modric played a defence splitting pass straight out for a goal kick...clapped out thoroughbreds

Half the stadium is empty and the ones there only seem to be present to boo Bale.

Eibar playing a stupidly high line. Works when they're pressing Madrid's build up since that Madrid defense can't play out of the back to save their lives but it's making it so easy for Madrid to just run in behind.

Madrid not playing in the UCL, don't have Ronaldo and there's nothing to play for in the league. Still wouldn't expect a half-empty stadium. Famous Madrid fans

Tbf he's been horrible

How many passes has Bale missed in the first 30 minutes? This is ridiculous, he looks like a sunday league player. Every single fan there seems to be whistling him at every missed shot or pass. Playing without any confidence at all.

Is it the booing causing that. They just seem to take the earliest opportunity to pounce on players.
The "boos" are more like long lasting depressed cat calls. Hardly an intimidatingly negative atmosphere, unlike Everton on a bad day. Loads of Madrid players seem off.

1-0 to Eibar, completely deserved

Nacho-Varane CB pairing isn't even midtable quality
