Amunt Valencia!

I knew that this delayed match would bring us problems, and we still have to compete until may with another one against Celta.
Voro has change Valencia,congrats @prarek .
It may sound opportunist after the match but I am not a big fan of Varane.I feel more confident with Pepe or even Nacho

Madrid have bottled the League. Messi's to lose now. Bale's return was a blessing in disguise for him.

As long as Messi beats them at the Bernabeu, I can't see any other result.

Varane has great individual qualities but I don't think he's the best at synchronizing with the rest of the defense. Our own Smalling is similar, and both haven't gotten rid of silly individual mistakes you would have expected them to by now.

I really really really hate valencia and wish bankruptcy on them, but we deserved to lose today

Sevilla faces a tough derby away vs betis. How about that; a tough derby!:D Betis have been ridiculously good at home since January (but they have been their regular selves at away ground), so this could get bloody.

What a gameweek ahead for all the top teams though:drool:

BTW, nobody linked the interview zaza did for a spanish paper/radio were he outright said the reason he sucked for west ham was that he just couldn't be bothered to play for west ham?

This was bound to happen Valencia were being so shit lately until they reach a point it only could get better for them, the amount of games and reschedule has fecked us over but it's not like Barcelona aren't going to drop point either so I'm still confident we'll win the league. However the most concerning thing is how the team was so unfocused and out of te game the first 10-15 minutes; it could cost us big time against Napoli so the team needs to get their shit together and play concentrated from the very start!

Nobody cares enough about Zaza to post it.

Barcelona plays at the calderon

Derby of sevilla

This weekend in Spain :drool::drool::drool::drool:

Thoughts for your derby? I am gonna watch it and Chelsea-Swansea together.

I think this could be the most difficult derby in years. Most difficult derby in the league at least (it was already difficult in the Europa League vs them, but we often had our way with them in the league).

Some insane derby stats:
  • Sevilla have only lost 5 of the latest 36 derbies.
  • Betis have not won at home vs Sevilla in 10 consecutive derbies.
  • Betis have not scored vs Sevilla in 7 consecutive derbies. The goal difference is 0-14.
But stats and trends are meant to be broken, but I really hope it doesn't happen this afternoon.

Great stats for you, so an upset is around the corner :D ;). Apart from joke, i would love to be a 3-horse race 'til the end.

Haha, yeah. Thanks buddy:) Although I can't see us putting enough pressure on the top 2, because we lack a trustworthy goalscorer; but it would be a magnificent dream coming true, if we could make a true effort for the title.

@Downcast Absolutely. I am biased though, he was one of the favourites in Sevilla, and was by far one of our most important figures in Emery's success, during his two years in Sevilla. He actually proved himself in Ligue 1 before Sevilla, and was already a high respected profile in that league before Sevilla bought him. So it is surprising to see how he is struggling under Emery at PSG, but I am sure he got the qualities to be the midfield sweeper and an aggressive two-ways midfielder at any club.

He is not a replacement for Carrick though, since they are two completely different type of midfielders. I'd say N'Zonzi's type is more close to Carrick's style, considering the N'Zonzi we have seen this season.

Valencia up! After a great save from Alaves keeper. Soler score tight angle.

Katai scores and Valencia look tired. Horrible fixture planning by the league. Just one day rest after playing Madrid then trip to Vitoria for an early Saturday kick off.

Cancelo playing Aleksandar Katai onside for their second goal. Smh.

He picked up a knock apparently. Don't think it's serious but keeping in mind that midweek game probably decided best to leave him out.
Thanks. Orellana getting sent off isn't ideal.

Interesting few weeks coming up. You play two bottom four sides at home and go away to Barca and Atletico

Many injuries too and now that Nani is also out. Zaza only option upfront. Still with Voro there is some positivity now.
