There are several teams and managers that play a similar style. Osasuna are a very physical team. Javier clemente springs to mind as he likes his teams to be very defensive, but he was successful in the 80s winning a few la ligas with athletic bilbao. Joaquin capparos is pretty defensive too, his bilbao team was hard to break down. Overall I would say the closest club in la liga to stoke reputation wise would be osasuna imo.They've all just turned shit..
