Pretty certain iron man 1 came out before Disney owned marvel too.Kraven the Hunter is a Marvel character. It is directed by Sony, and Sony owns all the rights to Spiderman related stuff. This is as much Marvel as the MCU, which is directed by Disney.
Sony making a Marvel movie and Disney making a Marvel movie. Both are Marvel.
This is obviously not connected to the MCU and Avengers related stuff because that is the Disney Franchise. Venom, Morbius and Kraven is the Sony franchise.
Disney had rights to the Spiderman MCU stuff, but Spidey and everything related is still owned by Sony, for now.

You see it's obviously not connected to the MCU, I say to the common fan that's not obvious at all. They're not made by the same people, they're not in the same universe, they have nothing to do with eachother but then you list it all as marvel films.

Spiderman is still a Marvel creation, the same as Venom, Kraven and Morbius. Yeah sure, Marvel doesn't own the rights to Spiderman anymore, but them and Disney had rights for the MCU Spiderman for a number of movies.
Marvel is not in any way involved in these Sony solo movies, but the characters involved are Marvel creations and will one day go back to Marvel when them and Disney are able to purchase the Spiderman related content.
About damn time he gets his own movie. And it's one of the very few Marvel movies to appropriately get the Rated R treatment.

It doesn't actually look all that bad - at least better than the other pap Sony have been releasing. I like that it presents a story of some kind. Unfortunately it also has seriously off putting CG.

They decided that instead of the Russian accent he’s supposed to have, Kraven now has a weird mix of English and American?
Ariana DeBose was weirdly bad in this. Like her line delivery was all kinds of off.
The guy playing Rhino has to win the worst actor Razzy. The woman who played Calypso’s gran might get Worst Supporting Actress.
The fact that animals go along with Kraven’s plans implies that he had to go through the plan with them. Why the feck is that not in the film?
The Foreigner is a bad character.
