Probably the only player in the squad that you’d feel confident of slotting that in from there. Wonderful composure and technique.

He can be our Cherki, slow technical player in advanced position, and certainly better defensively. Fro CM he's too slow. We should convert him like Belingham

That goal was eerily similar to his goal vs Wolves last season. He has that sprinkling of magic to his game and needs to be playing higher up the pitch.

If Garnacho had this guy's technique and finishing, he'd be worth £100 mill.

Yeah that left 10 pocket is where he does his best work. He'd be ideal in games where we have more possession and playing against a low block.

In games where the game is stretched and we're defending deep and on the counter, Garnacho's pace possibly makes him a better option in those scenarios.

Front three should be Garnacho, Mainoo and Bruno, fluid interchangeable front 3. Hojlund should be dropped as impact sub.

Unfortunately Garnacho’s decision making makes him the wrong option in almost every scenario.

Yep I’d say that could be his position in this side. I’d give him and Mount an hour on Sunday. We need them fit.

Mount is useless, why his name pops up as much as it does is a farce. Zirkzee / Mainoo offer the team far more though Joshua is obviously injured.

Great moment for him, he's great at that sidefoot finish. Great composure again, to slot it home. Was my favorite part of last season, and it feels like we've just missed him this year. If we're gonna win this trophy, we're gonna need him to be at his best.

CF
Mainoo Amad
WB Bruno Ugarte WB
This has got to be our plan for next season, surely. Garnacho when he's good has pace and grit and directness but it's all worthless if he so consistently picks the wrong pass or misses the finish. Amad needs to be the direct, pacy #10 and then we can afford a less dynamic, more possession-focussed one in Mainoo.
Against better sides you can drop Mainoo for Bruno and put another CM next to Ugarte.

Surprised at people jumping on the left #10 bandwagon.

Always thought Kobbie played his best football bringing the ball out from the back in the first phase, linking defence and midfield.

Anyone that actually wants to sell this lad should be locked up. The amount of people that have been advocating for it is scary.

He’s the future of this United team.

I think it's because he doesn't really fit this system and people (understandably) don't want to see him sold. He clearly has talent but like many in this team, it isn't clear how he works in an Amorim team.

I think he does, if it comes to his short passing game and moving with the ball. But he doesn't (currently) have the passing range which is key to that role, and he doesn't (currently) seem to have the physical stamina to be in the engine room of the team.

Left 10 won't necessarily be his best position for ever but it does limit the impact of his weaknesses. Those weaknesses are hopefully temporary - he's only just about to turn 20 so there's lots of development to come.

Also think people are forgetting he only turns 20 tomorrow, it's still probably another 2-3 years before he really grows into and develops the experience to play in the center of midfield to an elite level. It's fine for him to play a bit higher up the pitch every now and again while he figures out his game.

It's not just his composure when shooting that's ice cold, everything abut him looks easy and unhurried. The ball looks glued to his feet in a way that you just don't see with many players. He's an exceptional talent. He is a genuine pleasure to watch.

The boy will turn 20 in a few days. Incredible that he's this great a footballer already.
