Kluivert to ManUtd.....

I want kluivert to partner Van Nist

But definately I wouldnt swap Van the Man with no one

the only player who can get close to the dutchman is Christian Vieri but he is

1 older
2 injury prone

so therefor he is inferior to ruud

Personally, I wouldn't want a player who was regarded as the greatest the world had ever seen, if he didn't have the right attitude. I don't mean that he should be without character, or have a perfect temperament.

But he should be a United player at heart.

Well said Livvie!

Just say no to Klutzvert.

Not consistent enough and has a bad attitude.

I disagree. Why would you say he would not have respect for the club. Just because he has rejected Utd. before, doesn't mean anything - look at Blanc. PK is a good player and is a hard worker and I see no reason why he wouldn't succeed at OT.

Just a Dutch Alan Shearer imo.

In what way???

Livvie20,

A dutch Shearer you say???! Are you blind or something <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> Kluivert is far more skilled than the best player England has to offer! Kluivert is one of the best technical players in the world, and don't forget he is only 26 years of age!! Why do you think he is the most popular player of one off the biggest clubs in the world BARCA!!! In my eyes he is comparrible with Dennis Bergkamp in his best days, only his scoring ability could be better!

I already said that he could be the most skilful player in the world and I wouldn't want him.

Don't like him, never have, never will.

Players who diss United once are bad enough - twice is the limit imo. If he came to United it would be for the money, nothing else. If we didn't offer enough money, he wouldn't come.

Stuff him. And supporters who want him are supporters who want glory at any cost.

Well, I dunno bout that... see theres this kid called Rooney or something, apparently hes only 16 and the best player in the world already. Might sign him instead.

;)

I don't have a problem with any player turning down a move to United. But when he was linked with a move here, Kluivert made comments like if he was going to move to England he'd choose Arsenal.

Its a bit late for Kluivert. There are cheaper players out there. We need to find players before they reach the stage where Kluivert is.

Exactly! Spending vast amounts of money on players who have already been "discovered" long ago shows no scouting talent at all...Man Utd needs 2b a club know for its ability to scour the world & find emerging talent at the same time as nurturing it at home...If we were doing that well I for one would have no objection to spending big bucks for the Rio's or veron's (even if in his case it does not seemed to have worked...it might have. Might still!). The problem is that with notable exceptions (hopefully Richardson & Timms, on the home front, will be further exceptions) its not happening. Add to this the observation that we seem 2b clueless in the transfer market atm & we have a big problem. It is certainly not the end of our team but to get back to greatness we need to rebuild. Having said that we will probably go on to win the CL & disprove all I have said...Hallelujah! Oh by the way Kluivert is an arrogant twat. Good player though.

Klutzvert could only dream of being the player Shearer was at aged 26. You really think he's popular with the barca fans? The ones that I've talked to have always complained that he misses a lot of easy chances.

Now if you wanna nab someone from Barca, you go for Saviola - real quality.

Patrick Kluivert is a donkey chuffer and shouldnt be touched even with industrial gloves for fear of arrogant poseur lergy of which John "Swanning it Large" Barnes could never achieve.

Is that so? Maybe you should seek a second opinion from the likes of murt who thinks there's naught wrong with our scouts and scouting system.

Glory at any cost eh...sounds like Real Madrid to me - maybe that's what it takes to be the best team in the world.

For me it's always going to be talent first, attitude second. Both is ideal, but you can't manufacture talent whereas I believe you can modify attitude, for the better.

As for PK, I would have him because he is an awesome talent, and I think we aren't in a position to fully assess his attitude....yet! ;)

Oops its the Ichk/Murt thing again...why don't you 2 get married? ;)

Kliuvert is a very skillful forward... to compare him to shearer is silly. coz both are different types of players.. shearers is/was a more powerful, tradional style striker... paddy, has alot more skill and class...than shearers ever had.
