Last Man Standing champion 2019/20
What about Tarkowski as CB as well?
If available for less than 20m, he is a much better option than Bailly. Trippier isn't a bad choice either.

Thank God Irwin and Evra had such massive legs. His legs always look a little short to me and these sorts of things can make a difference at this level. Can be the difference between making and not making a last ditch tackle.
That being said I’d probably still take the risk if he can be got for 10m-ish as it allows us to focus on other areas. Seems desperate to come to us as well which I always like.
As usual Cafe has no idea about outside of epl. Trippier is a starting RB for the potential champions of Laliga but won't fit us as a competition to AWB.
He would be a great buy for less than 10m.

I've seen a lot of reasons on here not to sign a player. Tiny legs is a first though.
Good positioning can trump having midget legs if it stops you from having to make a last ditch tackle in the first place.

Played 27 matches (remember he was banned for couple of months). He has a great engine bit slow though. How's his fitness record and engine?
Look if we are not going to being Dalot back and laird and williams are going to be loaned out then we could do with a right back as cover... Im just not sure somebody who is starting most games for Athletico - and about to be only the 3rd english player to win la liga will fancy leaving Madrid to be back up / rotation in Manchester.Even if you don't particularly rate Trippier (and I don't) there's definitely sense in bringing in a cheap-ish RB for squad composition. I don't particularly rate Telles either but there's still obvious value in having him here.
The people crying about this deal will be the same ones moaning about bringing Cavani in last season.
Would be an equally excellent signing in my opinion.
Good points but with the number of games we play, he could get 25 or 30 starts.Look if we are not going to being Dalot back and laird and williams are going to be loaned out then we could do with a right back as cover... As you say its good we have telles as cover for shaw and personally Id be happy with Dalot or Williams as cover for AWB next season (I think Laird for sure needs another season on loan) but if we have to bring somebody in then lets go for somebody who will be happy as cover for a couple of years as one of the other 3 develops and certainly somebody who wont cost much
Another ex-Tottenham player who gets silverware after leaving them
I’m not a fan but he’s better than Dalot. A lot better.Am I the only one who thinks he's completely shite and wouldn't want him anywhere near the squad? I'd sooner bring Dalot back as a backup if that's the route we want to go. He was largely average to poor at Spurs and is now playing in an incredibly poor and low-intensity La Liga. Amazed at someone above saying he's anything like Cavani. Cavani was a world-class player who performed everywhere he's been. Trippier by comparison has achieved pretty much nothing and never been near the same tier of player. I think this will be a poor move and we will be moving him on as deadwood in a years time.

Yeah, quite bizarre considering the effect we've seen Telles have this season.Even if you don't particularly rate Trippier (and I don't) there's definitely sense in bringing in a cheap-ish RB for squad composition. As a back up RB, whose strengths lie in the attacking aspects of the role, I can't think of many better. He's what, 30? He'll give us around 3 years of service and we could have a 21-22 yo Laird potentially come through and take over.Am I the only one who thinks he's completely shite and wouldn't want him anywhere near the squad? Sure but we don't have to spend anything on Dalot as we already have him. Will earn significantly less too.I’m not a fan but he’s better than Dalot. A lot better.
Not really when Telles is a far better player.Yeah, quite bizarre considering the effect we've seen Telles have this season.
Yeah a RB who is decent on the ball and has good delivery for a reasonable fee would really be a good move for us. Would enable us to spend more elsehwere tooEven if you don't particularly rate Trippier (and I don't) there's definitely sense in bringing in a cheap-ish RB for squad composition.
