Amazing!

In fact I cannot even believe this is being discussed. It's morbid and quite odd frankly. There's gotta be something weird about anybody who speculates on suicide candidates.

How on earth you amateur psychologists equate a man driven by a need to succeed as a potential sucide is beyond me.

Suicide = failure

Keane = success

Spot your mistake?

Yeah, it needs to go.

How would you like having your family or children or whoever predicted to commit suicide?

well said, RUnited!! One comment i wish to add is, without Fergie, there is no such Keano today! the faith and trust SAF has on him (like those he put on King Eric). I doubt if Keano can achieve what he has acheived so far with another club TBH. Like you said, we are blessed to have him. And so is he! The Ireland incident is a good example.

We cant praise him more! His professionalism there has cost him his place in the world cup it says alot about this man's character and mental strength really.

correction!! When i agree with what most RUinted said about Keano, i forgot to mention that RUnited is nut to say 'he may end up committing suicide later in life.'

What on earth makes you think/say that???!!! Keano has a happy family and a successful career and hardly a failure in any sense, what would make him take his own life?? Insane to say that RUnited!!!!

That's like taking a kid into a sweet shop and telling them they can't have feck all.

Keane puts himself in the spotlight by (lets face it) being a fantastic footballer and then behaving unpredictably and controversially.

He inadvertantly invites the world to try and find a link between the two and that is why he is fascinating material.

With most footballers, what you hear and read IS mainly speculation, but NOT Keane. His behaviour sells the papers before they need to make up rubbish about him.

The media attention Keane receives is a price he is willing to pay for his behaviour.

And as such, this is another reason why he is fascinating material. This is why channel 4 make documentaries about him, this is why he is rarely off the back pages.

The guy is a psychologist's dream

Not Keano but you might just sneak through....

I doubt there are any other players in the game who would play out there skin to make sure their team makes it to the Champ's League final even though they aren't eligible to play themselves.
I don't understand the guy. Does he play for himself or Man Utd?

Thats why he is keane.

I personally think that if Keano had underplayed his emotions he could've achieved much..Before Zidane took centerstage i had always thought Keano
had it in him to succeed Maradona

Show me a hero i will write you a tragedy..Keano is a real hero..So he is bound to have some....

Then he goes and assaults a player and gets sent off with no regard for his team what-so-ever.
I can't figure the guy out. Can any of you?
Would he show the same commitment if he wore a Liverpool shirt week-in, week-out?

piss off....

In my response to people who questioned my prediction of Keane's suicide possibility:

Keane has a thirst for success that is simply uncontrollable. While this is a good quality to have, his way of achieving things lead me to believe he will sometime in the future come under a lot more stress to could pose as a danger for his health.

He breaks rules, demands extra effort from everyone with his emotions, and gets very angry when things don't go the way he sees fit (or if it doesn't go according to people who he respects, like SAF)

If he doesn't calm down after the end of his career he will come under much more stress and this led me to believe he's a possible candidate for suicide.

For the ways he has bursted out in the past, it would be perfectly normal if he chose killing himself as a way to quit being troubled with all these things. Stress is a silent killer and for people who can't and don't know how to control it, it's very scary.

Doesn't mean he hasn't been a success.. it simply means he doesn't have much control on his temper. I don't disagree that he may need some help. It would be great if he learnt from Cantona - because Cantona used to be very much like this. Of coz Keane like this benefits United as a team, but after he quits football I would really like to see his lifestyle change. Someone mentioned his drinking problem - that doesn't help either does it? (Tony Adams - anyone?)

It's my opinion.. I respect him fully and I love the guy for what he gives this team, but i'm also worried for his health. What is wrong with what I said there?

Everyone's a shrink these days. Unbelievable how anybody can "analyse" someone they don't know let alone come up with such a ridiculous conclusion.

no analysis here.. just an observation and a prediction.. an opinion i'd like to call it..

i'm not qualified to analyse anything Dans.. but from what i see this is what I think.. you don't have to agree with me..

I think on such a subject you should really shut the feck up with your "opinions" actually.
