keane starts

Apparently Blanc and Brown as CB, Gary and O'Shea at FB, Giggs, Keane, Veron, Scholes and Ole in midfield (or maybe Ole upfront this time?).
 
A bit worried if Ruud's left up front on his own. Middlesbrough's hard enough to break down as it is and haven't lost at home this season. Hopefully, Ole will be able to get up front to give him some support, along with Scholesy, and we'll be able to score some goals. Good to see that Seba and Scholesy are fit though.

Quite an open game so far, Boro aren't sitting back, they're coming on to us. Could be a tough match. So far we've been more in our half, and have had 2 chances, while they've had none, so we're counter attacking mostly.

O'Shea's started great, and our defence is very solid. O'Shea did a lovely turn earlier, to get space. And he delivered a cross which Ruud just got his head onto.

Neither side creating too much though, due to very organised defending.
 
Sounds like another one of those matches where who ever scores first - wins.

I'd go with that. McClaren's coached this team so well. They're not great individual players, but they're playing as a team, tactically strong. We'll just need to hope that Seba or Scholes can produce that one piece of magic that will create a goal, or Ole gets a really good cross in.

Having the best defence in the league might just win us the title this season, as Arsenal and Liverpool's aren't as good. They've been superb so far.
