To be fair, he was called that on here during the Euros

No fricking kidding... especially on a player who
a is 29
b has had ONE very good season out of the past 5
c doesn't show up in clutch matches (like world cup finals, Coppa America finals)
d currently looks like a walking pie shop

also Juve are match fixing c*nts

A bit harsh. His return for Napoli is brilliant even prior to last season. You can use the big game argument on quite a few Argentine national players too.

Its fair enough, i'm on about page 700 of their pogba thread its such exciting reading. Like seriously how highly they rate the guy is unbelievable. They've been saying for about 3 years he will one day just be the best player in the world, naturally the reaction is going to be bad. I know the last time we really lost a superstar world class player, in Ronaldo I was gutted for months.

Juventus offered him the same amount of money we are. They seem to forget that when they say he's leaving for money.

Do you have a source for this? I find it a little hard to believe that they could offer £280k per week or whatever it is.

I dont even get why they are so sore about it... We've payed a world record fee for little more than potential if we're honest. It's not as if they will struggle without him either they are a great club who always seem to find an adequate replacement.

Does he really need that security pass around his neck? I'm sure their staff all know what their record signing looks like.

This guy is walking a fine line for talking sense and calls for a ban have already started.

This level of bitterness tells you we are getting much more than potentisl no? Imo he is already a top player with the potential to become the best in the world but the pain they are showing when they got a world record fee for a player they poached from us and its a story they could spin whichever way they like to make them look like top dogs tells the whole story. Players like this are worth more than money, most bosses don't have the balls for such moves but in the last ten or so years we've seen players who would transform a team and provide a healthy ROI for a club with the platform and skill to monetize on pitch success - players like Vieira, Gerrard, Scholes, prime Schweinsteiger, Zidane, Ronaldinho before the parties, Ronaldo etc. Pogba is one of the best players under twenty five and has immense potential.

The posters on this site sound like Bluemoon posters pretending to be Juve fans.

Actually, I think even Bluemoon posters are more mature than these guys.

That thread is comedy gold! Way more enjoyment than all the 1000 pages of our Pogba thread (except Olly bits of course) :D

I liked this one, from page 1558.

There is no point in watching a league where the title is solely decided on the fortunes of one club.

And before anyone says "Bayern", the gate revenue for the Bundesliga is much higher than in Serie A. So, although they don't make as much on TV rights, the gate receipts are through the roof.

...Here is the harsh reality. A 1 team league only generates revenue for 1 team. The rest of the league needs to catch up, and quickly, to make Serie A a destination that the top players want to come to and that the casual fans want to see.

If not, then everybody here is going to sit around and bitch and complain that we can't afford to pay our top players with wages that are competitive with the rest of Europe.

And a successful league also means a richer Juventus. Better TV rights, more brand name recognition. We, as Juventus, can only do so much to carry the rest of the league with us.

Which was given the following response,

No one needs to give charity to those teams... but how difficult is to understand that as long as the rest of the league continue sucking..we will not create hype because there will be no interesting games to see...there will be no drama,,, no nothing. Juve will stopm everyone forever and no one else outside of italy will care.

Right now we are nothing more thana glorified Dynamo Zagref....stomping scrubs in our lala land.

Hehe.

Because they're beginning to realise that even with that fee, they're somehow still getting ripped off? And they just can't come to terms with the fact that he's leaving them as champions with CL football to come to us. It is quite funny really.

Wow, that guy openly admitting that Serie A is a one team league where Pogba can just pick up his trophies that don't really mean much without any effort, rather than testing himself in a competitive league like the EPL??

Doesn't anyone find it odd that they make it seem like they are basically sure thing to win the CL this season . And then have the nerve to call us deluded. It's like they all started watching football 4 years ago. Even City fans aren't that daft

I actually liked Juve as a club before this whole saga, they've managed to change my opinion by looking like egotistical twats though. Comparing us to Ajax and Milan

We are still the biggest brand in football and probably joint richest with Madrid, all the while not having to rely on a financial take-over. Not to add, we have won more Champions League's than they have in the past few years, despite them being the "much better team".

We both share the same sponsor, that of which openly sees as us the much bigger brand ffs.

That was by @as-95 who got banned over there

Yeah, because it was totally Juve's fault he left on a free.

Juve fans are seeing one of their most prized possessions being sold, it's understandable they are melting down, just like United fans did with Ronaldo and some continue to do till this day when Madrid is mentioned, so I don't get what you're getting at.

Kind of? Paul agreed a deal (or a gentlemen agreement) with Juve way before the club was made aware of the fact.

Plus I really don't remember it was this bad in the summer of 2009 when Ronaldo left. Maybe we knew it was inevitable a year before helped a little bit?
