Juve way is to lose first games. Dybala and Kaio are the players now. Have a Ronaldo all you want. Juve can’t use him anymore. He needs a lot of help.
Thanks, we will.

Remember, he left you. You didn't get rid of him.

Now, just like Real before them, they will able to free themselves from the Ronaldo shackles and have a fast free flowing attacking steamroller.

Right?

Even if they can reverse the Torres-isation of Morata their midfield and irregularity of Dybala will keep them low. I think they might fall from top4.
Allegri will keep them there. The Serie A is wide open this year.

No matter what happens, United have the best team, the best squad and are the bigger club :D

Good luck “helping“ Morata or Dybala score an extra 29 league goals between them this season!

I thought so. Let’s hope Juve meet United In the champions league and see what happens.

One guy hasn’t played in Europe beofre this and the other is inconsistent. Good luck this year.

Dybala isn’t necessarily inconsistent, he was injury prone the last few years. Before Ronaldo, he was arguably the best player in the league.

A player who wasn’t registered for the CL is replacing Ronaldo?

Inter have fecked themselves.. Juve will be fine.. a minor setback in Europe.. they'll be fine domestically.

Same for Barca.. no real competition in the domestic leagues.. make the rebuild a lot easier.

Do some people think we have some super important rivalry with Juve or something? Or they're bitter the club didn't give Ronaldo another CL? Bit of a strange thread tbh.

It is not early in the 2000’s anymore. Seria A is back. The old man who is still got it will struggle a lot against the solid defensive Juve have.
Hopefully. Football is worse off not having many top italian clubs. Rather have them than the likes of PSG and Man City pop up. However to your point, the old man was by far your best player for 3 seasons straight AND he will be going against two other ancient men in Chielini and Bonucci too ;)

Thread is way older than the Ronaldo transfer, it's from when people were stalking the forum during the Pogba saga

Actually I think it's both. Juventus were happy to sell Ronaldo to avoid his massive salary, while Ronaldo wasn't particularly eager to stay at Juventus.

Win win for both and, most importantly, massive win for United.

It all started when Pogba came back from loan.

Juventus spent a lot trying to win the CL. They were already the best in Italy and they signed Ronaldo of the back of 3 CL wins to get the title themselves. Sad truth is they never got close. Selling him is basically admitting the plan backfired and they want to try another Avenue.

But this is also why I think Ronaldo will be an asset to United but it doesn’t necessarily guarantee they’ll win anything.

Juve is actually his favourite opponent in the CL as he’s put 10 (!) past them in the competition (more than any player has scored against a single club) despite playing for them for the last 3 years. He’s scored in every fixture he ever played you guys. The odds are overwhelmingly in his favour if United ever meet Juve in Europe.
