Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

He makes a completely valid point. And I am not saying this because it is about us. I am surprised when ex players who have had a less than stellar careers pruduce such vociferous and personal criticism of current players.

Yes! Can’t believe I missed this!

I can't post in the other forums so will ask here. Is the game likely to be called off because of protests and how likely is it that we get awarded 3-0 win by the PL?

Klopp saying what a lot of people were thinking. I do like the fact that even at Talksport it is clear the other pundits think Gabby is a prize tool with the intellect of an amoeba. I guess he stays on air because his drivel drives reactions but sometimes listening to him it is hard to believe he has ever watched football let alone played it at any level.

Christ, we’re not doing this again, are we?

In this modern day and age I have seen stewards openly let protesting fans walk in and physically attack other stewards trying to keep them out. I've seen them rip up their own stadium and of course postpone a multi million pound fixture.

Now there's mention of policing, etc. Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. So yes, this again.

If we lose on Monday he'll need to take a serious look at our squad and where it's going wrong. 2 points from the opening 9 available was unthinkable a couple of weeks ago.

It would depend on the manner of the defeat but if we're 7 points behind City after the opening 3 games then it's already a mountain to climb.

Great. Fingers crossed we have a match Monday.

I don't think you need to worry about that unfortunately!

Whatever it is, KLOPP is CLASS.. Worst thing the board ever did is not to nab the b@#$tard! So many two part idiots mouthing off in front of a cam having done nothing themselves... It's like Souness talking about good tackles or Savage talking about UCL defending, Piers Morgan cringe puking every time in front of a mic or Players like Agban talking crap having done nothing themselves in their entire career.. Weird world of social media.. Everybody behind the keyboard/cam is an expert today (Yes I am talking to you TY the AFTV legend)

For the last time no.
The other game was called off not because a small handful of fans broke in temporarily, but because the game was run under covid protocols and they'd compromised them.
There are none now, so even if they do get a dodgy steward or 2 to let them in, they'll soon be moved on and then the game will continue.

Can't see it unfortunately. Even if we were 2-0 up with ten minutes to go we'd find a way to bottle it 2-3
I'd love that tbf.

Reckon we'll line up like this: Alisson; TAA, Gomez, VVD, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Diaz.

Out of the players unavailable through injury/suspension I think it's only Thiago, Jota and one of Konate or Matip who we really miss. Might see Harvey Elliott start instead of one of those midfield three.

One thing that is guaranteed is that Utd will score first. Sutton's 1-5 prediction seems fair. I might have to pay him more attention now.

TBF that has always been the case with Liverpool in recent years. Great first 11 but injuries are difficult to deal with, that's basically what caused the meltdown 2 years ago, and I think that's clearly where City have the edge.

I actually think we had better squad depth than them last season. They're just a better side overall imo. Losing Origi, Minamino and Mane is a blow but then they've lost Zinchenko, Jesus and Sterling.

think City dropped 21 points last season? If we lose Monday and are down 7 it’s over imo. Beating city twice wouldn’t be enough then and we’d have to have insane form for the rest of the season.

Weren't ye way behind last year as well and then almost reeled them in at the end?

This is also a freakish year with the little matter of a World Cup disrupting the whole season so it's difficult to make any inferences about this season from the opening few games.

Yeah I think we were 14 points behind but had two games in hand, so really it was an 8 point gap after equal games played. They also reeled us back in during the 18/19 season in a similar scenario I think.

Gabby and Trevor Sinclair must be some of the worst presenters I've had the misfortune to listen to.
Sinclair as a complete bellend but at least he is consistent in his sycophancy for City. He thinks every other team is rubbish.
Agbonlahor is a different proposition. Ive listened to him on TS for ages. He utterly hates Utd but never admits it.
Tries to be cute with constant digs and slights which are so obvious to everyone else. So glad the prick was called out

Chill dude, you aint going to lose.

It will be another big win to Liverpool. I think the reverse fixture we may be more competitive as ETH will then have had more time to implement his style and tactics.

So reports now that Utd cancelled pre match meeting in the Lowry. Now can we talk about this? It's clear a large minority your fan base is a violent type (how is that police officer's head injury from OT last time?), though that won't be mentioned on Sky. It's all about the repeat hooligan scouse fans in the CL final, etc. ;)

We can taste the three points and 3 goal difference. :wenger:

Why would LFC want to be gifted the points when they could simply twat us 5-0 in 45 minutes like they did last season?

Are they having to field their kids or something?

That poster is a troll. Most of the actual Liverpool fans want the game to go ahead as far as I can see.

I'd rather we didn't pick up any more injuries from teams in that part of the table.

Of course we do (at least that's what I want), but if the game actually gets cancelled because of Utd fans, I don't see why we shouldn't get three points rather than having to play the game at another point in time somewhere in the future.
