Struggled beating top teams. The stats tell the story.
Sorry we cannot hear you over Madrids fireworks and cannot see you over the white coloured confetti. And FA Cup. Are you deliberately leaving that out?

Arsenal finished 10th in 1993 but won the FA Cup and League Cup, I never mentioned 1997-98.Those were actually great sides. Unless you think we were crap in 1997-98
New pitch, had that one in before the game startedWhat's the excuse tonight?
winning on penalties after getting outplayed just leaves a bad taste in the mouth imoAnd FA Cup. Are you deliberately leaving that out?
Fell off his own fecking perchErik will build his new team on the ashes of Klopp's dibble.
Truthfully, why, as a liveroool fan, are you on here right now? Genuine question

Joking aside and putting SAFs virus comment to one side, a lot of United fans like Real Madrid or are ‘ok’ with them because of the history and their support post Munich.I came in here to lick my wounds. Thankfully Klopp signed that extension. Seems like you Utd fans will have to continue supporting the real big club of Manchester (City) and Ronaldo's favourite ever club (Real Madrid) until 2026 and not 2024.

I've been asked that numerous times in my 20 years on Redcafe. It's old schtick.
He has no lifeI haven’t been around that long. I’m really curious as to the answer? I genuinely can’t comprehend it so if you can help, please do.

@AmadaeusImagine being that one manager in history who lost a European final to this bum.
Pitch was too new. What's the excuse tonight?
That was a crazy decision. Maybe there were too many options.I was so happy went he took Diaz out for Jota.

Mods, the Pochettino thread is leaking. Can we get that sorted?the champions league final he won was even by a fluke against the better manager. However, not to discred the amazing work he had done at liverpool. He just isn’t pushing liverpool over the line in competition that hold weight. I won’t be surprised if next season things unravel at Liverpool. I might have to lookback at this post to see if it comes true.
To be fair Diaz was shit.I was so happy went he took Diaz out for Jota.
I think Liverpool got worse after the subs. Diaz wasnt having a good game but he has the quality to make something special Jota on the other hand....To be fair Diaz was shit.
He needed to take a man out of midfield and get a body further forward much earlier than he did. Madrid were playing so deep that they crowded out the attackers and only broke with 2/3 players anyway.

Ask others. I'm not obliged to reply.
Your tears are particularly salty this evening, Dumpster.
Very tasty
Rivalry and banter aside i don't think you were that far away; it's a very impressive squad. The lack of goals in three cup finals, two of which could have just as easily gone to Chelsea should be a concern and as I said in another thread, sometimes it seems that if you can hold strong after the inevitable early Liverpool onslaught good teams can have a chance at beating them.I mean this is coming after an era of 0 titles and 1 CL in about 25 years. He's doing well relative to where Liverpool have been before he arrived.
We're massively overhyped by the media and certain elements of our fan base though. The constant quadruple talk simply because we still had a chance to win everything was daft. We're a very good side but I think we've had glaring weaknesses defensively all season.
And fans still compare this team to SAF!1 CL and 1 PL in 7 years !
best team ever !
