I don't remember the exact quote, but he felt that the t-shirts were unnecessary seeing as neither him nor his players knew about the ESL.

Annoyed Leeds put them in the Liverpool changing room and I think the comment about the club motto was in response to Nevilles comments yesterday, which I think he perceived as an attack. Which whilst it may have come across like that it definitely wasn’t. I think klopps goal was to reiterate the players and the institution aren’t responsible for this.
That don't matter though does it? It's the club that their spitting at.
This is the most important thing to realise in my opinion! Alot of clubs names and history, also attached to players and staff, are going to be dragged through the mud in the name of greedy owners doing what they do best, being greedy. This hate and disdain should be turned upon the people who's name is in print on any documentation leading to the foundation of all this!
There are still hundreds, if not thousands, that this will affect purely on being aligned with these clubs in a working sense. He is bang on the head here, blame the individuals and not the institutions!
