Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

I'm not even gonna bother, but there have been a few, most of which I can't remember. I'm of the opinion that most decisions will cancel each other out over a season, although I agree that it's not always 1 on 1 cancelled out and this year they've clearly gone more in our favour than against us, would be silly to dispute that. However, there's a reason it's called "luck of champions" - in a year when you win the title, chances are that more decisions have gone in your favour than against you unless you can overcome it by being so much better than everyone else, which is clearly not the case with us and City.

Is this the tripe which Is being said on the Liverpool forum or don't any of their fans go there any more?!
They prefer to come here and try to defend the indefensible!

How is getting luck off of referee's indefensible? It's up to them to make the right decisions.

Salah's diving isn't justifiable and is on him, but linemen getting offside's wrong and referees not giving penalties is entirely on them.

Liverpool forums are crap. If you don't like us being here don't reply or better yet put us on ignore. You could always hope that we win the league because it'll end up with most of us being banned.

If you think that's me "defending" something I hope I won't ever have an argument with you. Then again, I only ever see you in Liverpool-related threads to complain about either the team or our presence on the Caf.

How do you know that? Did a lot of you get banned from the caf the last time you won the league?

I had a look at his prediction table a few days ago for this season.

He's got us unbeaten in third behind City in 1st & United in 2nd.

He makes weird predictions.
He never predicts Liverpool to lose. I think he's predicted maybe 2 losses in a decade. Almost every game between top 6 sides he predicts will be a draw.

Nothing wrong with what he said whatsoever. In fact I don't how he could have been anymore reasonable.

They're even keeping tabs on me! :D

Do we United fans have to ask for your permission to post?
I'd rather get run over by a truck than hope you lot win the league.

I actually think a lot of you (not you personally) get off on winding up the Utd fans in here.

I’ve noticed actual Utd fans getting banned left, right and centre but a lot of oppo fans getting away with a lot. It’s a weird one.

I don’t mind oppo fans being here. But know your place.

And there are fecking loads of Liverpool forums to post on. There’s definitely a reason why some Liverpool fans post here and it’s the little wind ups. There are some members notorious for it.

Again not attacking you personally and you’re right, we could just block the annoying Liverpool fans if we wanted. But I don’t mind a good debate with opposition - it’s the sly, unwarranted digs that some of your lot dish out without getting into trouble for doing so which irks me.

This above says it all
And I rest my case.
Have a nice evening everyone.

I'll blame it on the rain drops
I'll blame it on the cold snow,
Or blame it on the lino"

I haven't said that you need to ask permission to do anything. I don't understand why you approach replying to Liverpool fans in such a tribalistic manner though. Everything seems to be a sarcastic response or a dig. It's hard to actually have a football-related conversation with you, which is what this thread and others are here for.

Fair points and I definitely think you're right that some of our fans on here (and there are a lot) have trouble dealing with opposing points of view when it comes to Liverpool.

He's due tbf. He does get away with a lot.

Yeah he had a good run with being able to do whatever he wanted on the touchline and getting away with it so he can't complain if he now starts getting punished for the stupid shit he does and says.

I think he tried damage limitation in some of his later interviews last night, I think he knows he fecked up with questioning the integrity of the ref. Pretty blatant breaking of the rules that you'd think.

But its the FA so who knows what will happen, they seem to pick and choose when they want to enforce their rules and when they don't.

If you don't understand tribalism in football, particularly within regional rivalries, why have you got a chosen team?
Football would be irrelevant, or you'd have to be truly neutral to not appreciate it.

Having the Liverpool fans on here is great for the forum, plus I don't think anything he said was particularly wrong. If you're gonna target the Liverpool fans on here at least go for the shit ones, Klopper and Robin are both mostly* level-headed.

To be fair I'm not from Liverpool so that's probably why. I find it all a bit irrational which is probably why I'm fine posting on a United forum.

@breakout67 made a valid point about Klopp being a very emotional person. I hadn't noticed before but his post match interviews are usually far more bullish than his post match press conferences. Most of the crap excuses come immediately after a game, then he calms down and has a think. His pressers are a bit more composed generally speaking.

Yeah I can understand that, we've all said stupid things in the heat of the moment and then after you've calmed down you look back in embarrassment at what you've said.

It's something he's going to have to control though because he's going to be paying a lot of money in fines and serving a lot of bans if he carries on because it looks like the FA aren't letting him get away with it anymore.

Can't see anything great for the forum in having Liverpool fans here but i respect your opinion if you think so.

I disagree about you saying Klopper and Robin are both mostly* level-headed because in their last comments they were both defending ( a lot of blah blah trying to explain how it's possible not to see those offsides!) the indefensible - that is if you really believe that yesterday there were two blatant offsides which were not 'seen' by the refs.

The whole point is that we will mostly NEVER agree with most type of Liverpool fans' comments and they will also mostly NEVER agree with most of our comments. Sorry for using the word most/mostly a number of times.

It's hard to actually have a football-related conversation and i can sure converse about football but not when an opposing fan is trying to convince me and other United fans that the refs didn't help them along yesterday (or during this whole league) - then it becomes irritating to us.

To each his own and enjoy conversing with them.

I didn't even defend the officiating from last night.

I said that the referees are the ones people should be angry at for their poor officiating. It's not our fault they make those decisions.

Opposition fans are needed on this forum. Be boring if it was just Utd fans and a lot of them like @duffer and @Klopper76 are good posters.

You can tell how well a rival team is doing too by how many oppo fans are on here. Ten years ago there was so many Arsenal fans on here no City fans at all and Glaston.

Now we barely have any Arsenal fans, and there's loads of City and Spurs fans popping up.

Ridiculous!!!
We need a wall to keep them out. And Liverpool fans should sponsor it.

Point out to me where I defended the referees please, or where I tried to explain how they could’ve missed it.

I’ll respect your opinion whatever it is but don’t make stuff up, mate.

There's maybe a few less Liverpool fans atm. I don't think the ones that are here most of the time are any sort of problem, tbh.

The ones who drop in for a gloat, wind-up can occasionally be annoying. But I find some of that quite entertaining too when it's done well.

And WE do dish it out too (THAT is to be expected I suppose) and that's quite good fun most of the time. But there has to be a bit of give & take surely?**

**not in the event of them actually winning anything serious though, obviously - :nono:
