Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

Surely questions have to be asked of him now.

How can a team win at Stamford Bridge and the Emirates and beat City and Spurs and yet lose to the likes of Burnley and Bournemouth and Swansea etc. It's a mentality issue that Klopp isn't dealing with.

Liverpool are the biggest game raisers in the league.

Timing is everything in football. They got Arsenal with half a team on the 1st day, and the got Chelsea before they turned into dons.
On the other side of the coin, getting Leicester the first game after sacking Ranieri was terrible luck.

You can't just make excuses to brush off his achievements though. That's no different to Liverpool fans making excuses for his shortcomings.

He did well in Germany, and is struggling in England. That's the fairest way of looking at it.

I'm not making excuses. He did well to capitalise on the situation he found himself in during the time he was there, but once Bayern sorted themselves out his Dortmund side never came close again, and were in fact terrible for a large chunk of his final season. He won two leagues when Bayern, by their standards, were shit, and had one decent tilt at the Champions League in 4 attempts that was ultimately unsuccessful. Funnily enough, he said during that season that league performances were dropping off because of their focus on the CL, which was the excuse for your lot last season when he failed to win the Europa League.

If it wasn't for all of the "Normal One" and passionate bollocks that surrounds him he would be nowhere near as highly regarded as he is. At some point the penny has to drop that his last major trophy was now 5 years ago, and all he has to show since that is a string of lost finals, early cup exits and increasingly pathetic league campaigns.

They should have 2 more points you know. Zlatan's goal was offside.

But but but Lionel Mane has been at the African Cup of Nations, when he comes back we will win again.

But but but we are out of all the cups now and have just 1 game per week. Top 4 is ours, la.

(Tonight)

Mourinho's comments about the Leicester players stitched us up, la.

The two most tactically naive performances of the year were both away to Leicester, Pep and Klopp.

Spot on. They played like teams did last season when they had no idea how Leicester want to play.

The lads on sky are saying it now but giving Vardy that space to run in behind teams was very poor from Liverpool.

say Klopp, how many games did you win this year??

His post match interview should be a laugh. The happy spa act must be coming to an end.

"but United had an offside goal against us, and Southampton had a valid goal disallowed"

"how is that relevant to this interview Mr Klopp"

smiles manically...

Must say the devotion a lot of 'Pool fans have to him certainly is odd considering he's achieved very little with them.

They are very good against the big teams.

No doubt in my mind they'll step it up for those three, only to go on and lose at home to Burnley or something.

Yes fair point. Klopp's greatest weapon is completely nullified in games where the opposition have no interest in holding on to the ball (which obviously won't be the case in those big games).

His actual record is worse than Rodgers, it's actually also worse than Moyes! at United.

Are these guys blinkered to this guy?

His last two seasons in Germany were a complete disaster.

Have you seen the devotion for Ranieri on the caf? Has never even managed us!

as long as they beat top team, they are happy, like winning trophies. their players are like their supporters, full of delusional cnuts..

Hypothetically if things continue to go from bad to worse here and Klopp ends up getting the chop, how much sentimental pressure is there going to be to put Gerrard in charge?

Only two more points than Leicester since the new year.
It's literally relegation form

2 wins (and 6 defeats) in 12 games for Liverpool. Arsenal, Man City, Everton all coming up in the next 4 weeks.
Actually that's a nice run of fixture for them. Send them relegation battlers and they're toasted.
