Liverpool seemingly giving up their "most successful club in England" gimmick.

Depends. Liverpool fits the profile of clubs simeone might be attracted to, but he'll sooner take over at inter or lazio than them. Other than those two, i think he'd rather go for an established big side with huge resourcesI don't think it will happen but if Klopp did leave Liverpool what are the chances Liverpool would tempt Simeone?
It's because we'll be level if we win on Sunday, I think?Liverpool seemingly giving up their "most successful club in England" gimmick.

The funny thing is we're already level according to how they count it, roughly 20 ahead officially though. It's because we'll be level if we win on Sunday, I think?
No chance, Simeone will go Inter, nowhere else IMO.I don't think it will happen but if Klopp did leave Liverpool what are the chances Liverpool would tempt Simeone?
at the LFC bio
They could at least wait until we've actually won the damn thing

Zero, I would say.I don't think it will happen but if Klopp did leave Liverpool what are the chances Liverpool would tempt Simeone?
Maybe they are trying to jinx us.

if we qualify, I feel we would probably have more chance of winning a CL than a title.
He's not wrong though. It is more likely that Liverpool win the CL than the league.Huh? Klopp couldn't even win Liverpool Europa Cup.
Another example of Liverpool fan entitlement.
Heh. Very good. Credit where it's due.

In order to win the league they will have to consistently put smaller teams to bed and outshine the likes of Chelsea, United and City (who will all likely make big signings this summer, and their managers will be in their second season) across 38 games. I simply cannot see Liverpool doing that. I just can't.
Winning the CL is also extremely unlikely, but they won it in 2005 with Traore and Finnan in defence against Kaka, Shevchenko and Crespo. Anything is possible in a one-off game.
Knowing how shite we have been recently, and looking at Liverpool's record in big games this season, I wouldn't even back us against them.Barca, Real, & Bayern, would be no problem for Klopp's Liverpool. We're in trouble if the likes of Burnley, Bournemouth, & Hull ever qualify though.

Ya think? They're probably voodoo dolling every United shirt they go by.
I don't expect Klopp to win anything significant with Liverpool tbh, other than probably an FA Cup and/or League Cup. They aren't consistent enough to win the Prem, and not clinical enough to win in Europe. They won it because Milan capitulated. Not saying they won't win it period but with Klopp final match records it's like it will work against them than for.
Did Bayern capitulate in 99? Did Terry capitulate in 08?They won it because Milan capitulated.
Did Bayern capitulate in 99?
No doubt they will stick the boot in if we lose on Sunday
No they didn't. That game was a one-in-a-billion-billionsThey won it because Milan capitulated.
BrilliantFull quote : "There have been a few strange decisions in 16/17: Brexit, Trump, Ranieri and that offside goal for United"
Why should the Smicer goal not have stood? No they didn't. That game was a one-in-a-billion-billions
3 goals in 6 minutes(and smicer's shouldn't have stood) without doing much of anything, dudek with one of the best saves ever, it really was a miracle.
Yeah I think it is - even if you don't win on Sunday I think you will win at least one of the other two remaining cups you're in so every chance you will draw level and maybe even overtake this season.
Stuff like that matters to me so won't be happy but its been on the cards for a long time now anyway - it would be much worse if it was a title or CL win. Whoever wins the next one of those two will no doubt go to town on the other's fans - it will be big bragging rights as we're tied at 23 all atm. If Jose gets a few more good signings this summer you must be in with a good shout of the title next season - and strangely enough, if we qualify, I feel we would probably have more chance of winning a CL than a title.
Mad to think 25 years ago the tally was Utd on 8 and Liverpool on 22.
And now it's 23 each.
Yep it was an incredible drop off by us and an even more astounding run of success from Utd.
Can't see anothe team dominate like we did in the 70s/80s and you did in 90s/00s again. Football landscape has changed too much.
Baros was offside and on the trajectory of the shot, he moves to get out of the way. Under the old offside rules, it should have been offsideWhy should the Smicer goal not have stood?
Wasn't there a handball by Nesta in the build up to Milan's second goal (Crespo's first)?Baros was offside and on the trajectory of the shot, he moves to get out of the way. Under the old offside rules, it should have been offside

Don't think so. Comfortably onside as Smicer makes contact.Baros was offside and on the trajectory of the shot, he moves to get out of the way. Under the old offside rules, it should have been offside
