He’s going to Ipswich , read the article . The headline is click baitHope this is true, I like him. Much more technically gifted than Garnacho, more suited to the AM role with Amad. Big talent. But what happened to him? He was so good before some injuries here and there.
Worth remembering Gyokeres couldn’t get into the Brighton first team either!I liked the look of Encisco in his first season, but this is a sad indictment of how far we have fallen, we are fighting relegation teams to loan a player that can't get into the Brighton team.
The club really needs something like a Gyorkeres signing to give us something to get excited about, because at the moment it's one negative after another with very little hope in sight.
Under their stewardship. That’s just further evidence! While this is true , we have also pissed away £600 million in the last few years
I didn't know that.I mean, Evra had played in a Champions League final…
A long injury happened. Has then since struggled to come back into the team, but he looked like a light version of Suarez when coming through (without the racism and cannibalism). What happened with him at Brighton? Last I remembered he was looking a good talent and getting plenty of games. Hadn't realised he had fallen out of favour. I would still take him in a heartbeat if he's cheap, as grim as it might seem to be after a player who can't get a game at Brighton.
Must think he has a better chance of beating relegationHe’s joining Ipswich
Makes sense. Can't let a relegation rival strengthen.
Yet he's not playing Adingra who really impressed me last season - I'd happily take him too.Partially injury. But also partly just their system and numbers.
Hurzeler usually seems to prefer more winger-ish wide players. And they have a lot of players who can play at #10, most obviously Pedro and Rutter (who they dropped £40m on).
