Jude Bellingham | Real Madrid player

Yeah, maybe we should have met him at 6 months old. You could have retired his bib from the club creche.

Have some respect for the club that’s produced a truly top line world class footballer in this millennium, because IIRC, United haven’t…..

Apparently United wanted him in Fergies last season. We seem to feck everything up lately.

What? Jude would have been about 7/8/9. He didn’t really kick on until when he had a growth spurt at about 13.

You don't.

Tell me who since the turn of the millennium who Man Utd have produced that is a world class consistent game changing player?

Rashford & Greenwood have not hit those heights yet.

Pogba spent maybe a little over 2 years with United at youth level.

The 90s alone United produced 3 genuine world class consistent game changers. They don’t need naming.

Bellingham has achieved nothing yet. How can you belittle someone like Rashford, yet label Bellingham "a truly top line World Class footballer"? He's only been around for 5 minutes and he spent most of that time coasting along at Dortmund.

No he didn’t, check his Dortmund ratings.

Rashford shows flashes of being world class, but cannot put together consistency at the top level. Kane & Walker are England’s only seasoned world class players, with Saka getting close to it, but let’s see him vs the elites of Europe consistently

Greenwood ‘was’ on his way.

World Class for me is Mbappe, Zidane, Messi, Ronaldo, Kaka, Cantona, Beckham, Scholes, Giggs, R9, Schmichael. Players that affected the outcome of the biggest games.

He's still shown far more than Bellingham ever has. My problem isn't even Bellingham. It's this fan-boy generation. Such small club mentality. Not even fans of my local side Northampton Town, eulogise over Ivan Toney like you do over Bellingham.

A Birmingham supporter signing up to a United forum to incessantly fanboy over Bellingham is really strange.

Hang on. That's your definition of World Class and you're putting Bellingham alongside them? I'm not sure he's affected the outcome of many of the "biggest games" quite yet.

Fantastic talent, of course.

Sancho was also world class at Dortmund. Lot's of players are world class at Dortmund only to flop somewhere else, but point taken.

Still gotta love how a 30 goal a season wide forward in Rashford isn't world class, and yet a brand new kid on the block who has yet to show anything similar in Saka is somehow closer to being WC

Also the bolded part I agree with, but imagine that at this moment in time saying Bellingham is anywhere near those guys. If anything he is still a level below Pogba. At this age Pogba was having WC performances and led Juve to the CL final which prompted us to outspend Real and buy him. Let's wait and see if Jude can get close to that.

I will say this though: unlike Pogba, Bellingham made the right choice in signing for Madrid. Unlike here or say Chelsea, Real will never let him turn into a slacker or placate his every whim the way we did with Pogba.

Nah. I’ve been saying it for ages, Bellingham could do, and be, whatever he wants in midfield. Had Jose got hold of him at Chelsea instead of Obi Mikel, he’d have shaped him into the best ball carrying DM in the world. Or, he could have sold Lampard and replaced him. Or, forged him into a much better Essien.

He reminds me of Bryan Robson in attack and Roy Keane in defence.

Injuries permitting, he’ll be up there with Zidane & Modric before he’s 25. Probably with the ego of the former, as he Sounds like a wonderfully hot headed borderline dickhead.

I think he's a good player. I do find him a very difficult player to like though. Some of that isn't his fault. I just don't appreciate the amount of smoke blown up his arse every time he completes a 5 yard pass for England. His cheerleader on here is very aggravating too.

Not a hope that he will reach Zidane and Modric's level by 25, or ever for that matter.

He’s never going to be a Zidane or Modric type of player.

I think you could argue he’s more stylistically similar to Yaya Toure in his peak at City.

I think the difference in ability is quite obvious though.

It’s not just ability, it’s attitude and leadership.

Rashford can just be anonymous when he’s not at the races.

has it in him to be better than all of them.

It'll be interesting how Ancelotti handles him, dude at times doesn't rotate, hopefully he doesn't do him in.

I really think he’s that good. Gazza or Rooney with a single point of focus: to be the best player that he can be.

He’ll be up there with Charlton, Robson and Rooney in terms of best English players of all time.

Pogba at 20 had never played a WC or reached a CL final. He only had a handful of CL games and never scored a goal in that competition. Bellingham is actually ahead of him in that regard at the same age: he has more CL games under his belt, scored goals in the CL and has played a WC already. He also has more appearances for his national team than Pogba.

It won't take much for Bellingham to equal or surpass Pogba. Two good seasons for Real Madrid should do it.

has it in him to be better than all of them.

Really that's some bold claim to be honest , I don't even see him even reaching Peak Yaya's level let alone other two hype is unreal for this kid lets revisit this by end of the season .

Rashford is world class? I'm having what you're having. The only world class about him is his salary

Maybe if he does you could just retire your club?

A very arrogant comment that. No club is more important than another. We all make up the great English game together.

Has anyone who weren’t initially impressed turned on Jude yet? I mean it is Scotland, but still MoM.

Have you just moaned at someone for shitting on your club, only to then shit on an entire country?
