Joshua Bohui

England are in a tug-of-war with France and Ivory Coast to secure the international services of Manchester United's 18-year-old centre-forward Joshua Bohui.

Bohui has enjoyed rave reviews for both United's U18 and U23 squads since joining from Brentford on a three-year contract in August last year.

The pacy attacker represented England at U17 level last year, but is yet to commit his international future to the Three Lions.

Bohui was born in London and his mother is English whilst his father is Ivorian. The Ivory Coast are particularly interested after their recent success in convincing Wilfred Zaha to represent them at the 2017 African Cup of Nations despite him having played for England at various levels.

Sky Sports News HQ understands that the governing bodies of both France and Ivory Coast have contacted the player's representatives in the hope of securing his allegiance.

France? Maybe his father is a French citizen.

Not been following our youth teams for a while but how good is he looking? Must be doing something right till have a battle over which country he will represent.

He has been decent/good, better than Burkart who play in the same position (though Burkart is one year younger) and probably will turn out better than someone like Ashley Fletcher but so far did not look like he's in the "special" tier. Gribbin, Gomes, Chong, Buffonge, Hamilton, O'Connor, Barlow, Tanner and Kenyon are the names that have impressed me more of those academy players around his age.

He's on a clear path to be U23s regular next season at least though with our lack of striker situation.

Dislodged Burkhart from the team last I checked, and Burkhart was our big summer signing up front. I agree though that he doesn't look like a future superstar from what I've seen.
