They all bloody love him now!
Should have guessed that! The fickle mind of a football fan
They all bloody love him now!
I totally forgot winning in the past means automatically you will win in the future, recent circumstance and history be damned. Not sure if serious...
The guy has won silverware at every club he's been at - he is, literally, a serial winner.
I'd volunteer to arrange a taxi or even do the driving myself.

Ok.It's no different to how 99% of rival fans seem to hate Dele, say quite horrific things about Kane (and make him out to be a plodder that's just got the rub of the green), think Lamela is a dirty player and so on...
...yet if they were in their team, they'd think they were heroes.
It's not so much "fickle", but subjective. Mourinho has historically guaranteed trophies for his clubs, and is quite happy to do whatever it takes to beat the team in front of him - of course rival fans would think the same way as the aforementioned players - especially when it's for rival teams.
It's like when people say "He's a ****, but he's our ****"

Ah the myth of Klopp's meltdown at Dortmund which gets repeated regularly on here. I doubt many of these posters even watched Dortmund that season.
With that completely arbitrary statement, Uni Emery is also a serial winner. Look how many trophies he's won in the last 4 years!Yeah...
He has won at least two leagues or cups in each of his last six jobs.
But as you were
Just watched most of Jose’s firsts presser as Spurs manager. He didn’t name any names but he was speaking about his principles and spoke about if you have a player who thinks he’s a top player but he only thinks of himself and doesn’t make others better... wonder who his talking about
Read it back mate.
Where did I say that everything Mourinho says will something that Fergie would've said...?
My statement was that Mourinho is the most similar manager to Fergie that we've had post Fergie - which he is, by far.
To be fair he was directly asked about “working with people you don’t love” and if that referred to Man Utd. He replied with Kobe Bryant quote about the only people that don’t like him are those that don’t like his principles then he elaborated about with the Pog... star player exampleand theres his problem, who in the spurs squad does that benefit - why be negative for no reason. If its for a reason, to encourage a player, why not phrase it without pulling somebody else down, its not motivational the way he does it.
I look forward to the day these Mourinho threads are on the 2nd page, honestly I thought we had gotten rid of his negativity.

Jose will get them winning some games and then these will come flying around with smugness. Everyone knows how it's gonna end. They all bloody love him now!
The thing is, you guys are/were in a lot better position then to win the odd cup here and there. You could achieve much more but if that keeps you happy, then fair enough!I can guarantee you that spurs fan's won't be bitter if he wins what he did for United. We have totally different expectations and levels of appreciation than what United fans are accustomed to, as we've had only 2 cups in the last 30 years or so.
Meh. We finished 6th and were generally poor. All those players barring Ibra were failed signings. Pogba was the one who should have been an unmitigated successes but he managed to fall out with him. Just look a the list I've posted. It's absolutely woeful. So while some are inclined praise Mourinho for winning the Europa League , he without doubt let the club down at a crucial junction when Pep and Klopp took their club's forward several miles and we loitered around the same spot chucking money into thin air.Whilst true it is still harsh, given that the first year started off very well. Even Rojo was playing great. Then he and ibra got injured towards the end of the season and the wheels fell apart, both from Jose and us.
Matic was very good in the first season
So was Bailly
Mikhi was good
Ibra was good
Pogba obviously was good
That first season felt like we had the opportunity to really push on, but Ibra got injured and we had to sign Lukaku who was never really a good fit, and things carcrashed pretty quickly after (a lot of it down to Jose).
I wonder if people can see how badly he let us down. All this stuff about the board but how about
Signed Matic who turned to shit
Signed Sanchez who turned out shit
Signed Lindelof who was shit under him
Signed Fred who turned it shut
Signed Pogba (for a world record fee sanctuoneds by the evil board) and fell out with the 'virus'
Signed Bailly who turned to shit
Signed Mkhitarian who turned to shit
Signed Lukaku who eventually went fat and left the club
This isn't even counting the boring/defensive football, publically throwing tantrums and having us 11 points off 4th in his final season. Jose had lots to do but so do most managers. The ones who do a good job don't leave their team worse off after spending 350 million pounds.

I’ve just watched it too and came here to say the same thing.
Also talked about selfish players and how if he loses he can’t be happy and if you don’t share that philosophy it’s a problem for him.
Clearly ripping Pogba to shit (rightly) with probably a couple of others who seem to want to clown around while the team fails.
What a weird thing to sayIf anybody can take points off the 'pool.. Its this guy. I'm all for it by the way. The bastard will take points off us too. Its a price i'm willing to pay.
ThisIt will end in tears and be delightful to watch.
Nail on the head. Mourinho had to go, but he was by far the least of our problems.I’ve just watched it too and came here to say the same thing.

I think this Spurs squad is being massively overrated, people (including Jose himself) seem to be rating the players based on what they were not what they currently are. There's a reason their form has been all over the place this calendar year and that's because they ain't very good.Think it's worth remembering that Jose has inherited a better squad with Spurs than he did at Utd. I am also impressed by this coach he has brought in from Lille to be his number two.

Think back to 2017 and the team that challenged Chelsea for the title. Apart from Kane and Son who are anywhere near as good as they were then? Alderwierld, Vertonghen, Alli, Waynama, Eriksen, Rose, Dier and Lloris are all basically caricatures of the players they were back then while Dembele, Walker and Trippier have all been sold and very poorly replaced. They have effectively lost 11 top performing players off the top of my head in two and a half years through either sale or decline, and it's showing on the pitch. Out of the players that have declined (since 2017) only Alli and Dier are at an age where they can realistically recover their level from back then.
They have a massive massive rebuild ahead for them and if Mou has gone in there without realising that then he will probably lose his shit more than ever before when he works it out.
So City then? He'll go all out to take points off of the title contenders just so that he can brag that he beat/slowed down the eventual title winners whoever they are.
Really? Car crash waiting to happen this. This is not good. Now Spurs can actually win the PL.
