Jose Mourinho | Spurs manager

At every club he's been at since 2002, Mourinho has won trophies. Will he win one at Spurs?

It's obviously impossible to know but I'd love to be able to see what the Mourinho of 2003-2010 would make of the current Mourinho.

Boasting about finishing 2nd and winning nothing with Man Utd
Jumping up and down in celebration at finishing 6th with Tottenham

The old Mourinho would be treating current Mourinho the way he did Wenger, just mocking him.

I'd like to see Ole address this. He doesn't need to go Kevin Keegan. However, I remember when Mou was aiming digs at Ronaldo in 2006/07. Sir Alex was happy to respond. I think its important to take on this narrative that United get special luck.

Hahahahaha I just saw this on twitter and died laughing..

Mourinho being salty af. Love it!

He should worry about his own players for a change cuz this is literally his last high profile gig if he doesn’t win any trophies :nono:

No need for Ole to respond directly to this clown. Mourinho is a meme at this stage and is managing an irrelevant club.

Yeah, I don't mean he should slag of Mourinho's failure at United. I mean he should say we make our own luck because we're constantly attacking the box and with the speed we have up top, any mistake leads to a penalty. If VAR has checked the decisions and is happy with them then we've no reason to question them either.

Why respond to it? What’s it going to achieve?

Fergie responded because Mourinho was a rival back then and very good at manipulating referees. He’s not very good at anything these days besides self imploding.

Plus didn't Mourinho say Ronaldo was uneducated? Something really cnuty and deserving of Fergie having a go back at him.

This is just Mourinho talking his usual harmless shite. Best for Ole to ignore him.

Typical Jose deflection tactic. He does it so well, deflects all the attention of his crap football, to other teams.

He does realise you have to attack to get a penalty?

And have some touches in the Bournemouth box or not have Kane as DM.

Jose the voyeur.

I hope its not lost on anyone that he is slowly turning into the man he despised so much, Wenger.

Worth noting likes of Martial and Rashford won majority of those penalties, two players Mourinho seemingly didn't rate much. Wonder what he thinks of them and his good mate Luke Shaw playing big roles in Man. United getting 3rd.

Lampard and Mourinho's comments allowed Chelsea to foul over 20 times in the FA Cup semi final without any cards being shown. The talk about our luck and our penalties is definitely affecting referees.

Oh he'd come out and say he always really rated Rashford and Martial and it wasn't his fault he regularly stuck them on the bench and clearly fell out with them.

Same sort of bollocks he comes out with when people bring up him bombing out Salah and De Bruyne from Chelsea.

Or maybe the ref was bad?

The ref, the linesmen and VAR..?

Yes, that is possible in England.

Maybe you been sleeping, but the standard of officiating in England is at all time low. I’m not sure why you are acting surprised about that.

That isn't a dig at Bruno is it? He's just saying Bruno proved to be a good penalty taker because he had to take a lot of penalities, and burried them all.

To be far,Jose has history with working with midfielders who stat-pad from the penalty spot.

Nah, SAF responded to managers of teams that were a threat; Spurs and Mou are no such thing. Best to dismiss it rather then give him attention.

I just hope Mason Greenwood doesn't have to suffer more stamps on his ankle because, supposedly, Man Utd get all the the 'luck.'

Yes, because I’m sure the inept VAR ref was paying attention to Mourinhos comment rather than watching Romeu stamp on Greenwood.

He's throwing shade at us, rather than bruno. He's saying we benefited and won purely because of pens.

After Ole's comment about Rafa's facts, I'd love if he came out with this

It may not be proven but there is enough evidence over the years that you can get into the referees heads.

We have seen it with Lampard and the next game the ref didnt book Chelsea players.

We have seen teams call City out for tactical fouls and refs look out for in in games.

Good old Jose. I wish Bruno will have 20 penalties to take next season and all of them into the bottom corner of the net and see his salty tears come out

 sometimes you just have to laugh. Have to say, these digs sound funnier to me now that:
  • He's not that big a threat (for now)
  • He's not ripping out the soul of our club as our manager

He would wind him up like a kipper and take unbelievable pleasure in doing so.

I'm starting to wonder if he's realised he's done and is just playing along now, trying to glorify Tottenham's worst season since 2009 and inflating Drogba's goal numbers is a little suspicious. Feels like he's testing just how many he can get onboard/manipulate for his own amusement.

Yeah when you attack so much and you're constantly in opposing box you get penalties. Something we didn't see so much before. It's nice he takes digs at us but I'm just wondering why did they celebrate their 6th spot like it's some kind of achievement.

Tbf, that is probably his biggest achievement.
