John Brooks

A really minor one but deep into injury time at the end of the game Garnacho carried the ball up the left, then passed back to Antony. Who clearly won a throw in off a Liverpool player. But oh no, throw in to Liverpool. Anyone else notice that? Drove me nuts.

Ah yes, thought it was just me. You describe it as a minor one but it actually gave Liverpool one last chance to mount an attack, utilising all the extra time they’d been afforded.

I’d be fuming if we scored a goal and it was disallowed for that.
Yeah. I mean it's probably more a foul than not but hardly the kind of stuff to complain about

The Gomez one on Wan Bissaka, now that's just mad

Never mind his second booking, the first one for Amad was a disgrace. Liverpool won a foul, threw the ball 10 metres further forward, so Amad stopped it, they kicked it off him, moaned their faces off then Amad gets booked.

Then he makes Liverpool take the free kick from where it was meant to be in the first place, putting it back in their half! So Amad didn't even do anything wrong?

Utterly mental.

Ya that was special too. Player gets booked for pointing out the basic duty of a ref

The same situation where Bruno got booked, I think against Everton where he hit it against their player because he wouldn’t move away. The first time ever in my long football life where I’ve seen the free kick taker getting carded instead of the perpetrator.

I haven't a clue what the rules are anymore.

Didn't that happen to Eriksen against Villa (?) because of the wall distance or something?

I don't remember that one. But i remember our wall being moved miles away versus villa for a free they scored. And fernandes being booked for kicking the ball at a player who was obstructing a quick free.
