Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Apparantly have a preference for Barcelona, but can they afford him?!

Did not do great at a malfunctioning Chelsea side. But in his first season in the PL in a malfunctioning Chelsea-side his npxg was in the 82nd percentile among strikers with 0,47 per 90 min). 94th percentile if you compare him to attacking midfielders. All things considered, I think that is quite good.

He is 23 years old. Soon 24 years old. Is probably available on a loan for a fair fee (unlike in january). He is a flexible forward. Very different to Man Utds options today, but probably a lot more suited to dropping deep (like Weghorst was tasked) than Hojlund or Rashford.

Considering Man Utds options, I think Felix would make sense. And I think Man Utd and EtH would make sense for Felix. He could be a low risk, high reward solution.

It baffles me that he is still expensive.

Not the best negotiating tactic from the president there, surely. Simultaneously implies nobody wants the player AND says he wants to leave.

I’m shocked he’s only 23. Feels like he’s been around for years.

He’s so close but yet so far in talent.

Meh player, no attitude. Would be a bad signing.

If he is available for loan we should be all over this. Nothing to lose and will improve our front line/ hold up play.

He does always score against us, maybe that’d transfer over to scoring for us too. I’m sold.

Loan should be tempting for us. Could be used as a false 9, interchanged with Hojlund at CF position. I don't consider Martial as a professional footballer anymore because of his (un)fitness.

Felix is wasteful in front of a goal(not clinical), but he is technically a brilliant footballer with some creativity also.

Sancho and Felix loan swap?
Why would we loan Sancho. He’s probably been our best winger this season coming off the bench.
Antony has been poor , Garnacho isn’t ready , Rashford could end up having a stinker and we don’t know what levels Amad will be.

he always looked amazing until he got anywhere near the box ha. Would fit in with our group with his abysmal finishing

I actually thought he looked good whenever he was on the ball at Chelsea. There's a lot of potential in him at 23, and he can be a good foil for Hojlund in some system. But I doubt we go in for him.

I actually prefer Sancho than Rashford on the wing but realistically I’m not sure he will get much game time this season, and his value will only going to reduce further if he doesn’t play.

Stay away. Another fancy player who looks good to the eyes, but excels at no particular role on the pitch. I can't see a universe where both he and Bruno can play together and be effective at the highest level. More difficult when you also add Rashford in that mix.

Would love him, he’d make us more fun to watch and it’s not like we’ll be competing so we could afford to grow him.

Perfect modern United signing. Full of talent but absolutely zero determination. Brilliant game followed by 3 pathetic performances.

Seeing as ETH was experimenting with Sancho as a false 9 I think we should definitely look at Felix on a seasons loan with an option to buy, Chelsea in general were awful last season but Felix actually looked ok and seeing as money is tight along with Felix’s flexibility in playing different forward roles he’d be a good loan signing.

I really like him, at least talent wise. He has incredible technical ability. His ability to turn and carry the ball with close control is fantastic. Not many can do it.

But yes, you would have to improve his productivity and mentality to make a proper player out of him for a major club. Possible but it's a project and if it's a ridiculously expensive project then maybe the risk is slightly too much.

One of my absolute favourite players to watch.

With his technical ability, creative brain and the Simeone education (even if he hated it) making him a pretty gritty and intelligent presser there's no way he doesn't fulfill his potential and explode somewhere.

One of his biggest issues at Atletico is that he was getting barely any penalty box touches with how he was being asked to play.

I do feel he’s capable of bursting into a world class player but all the conditions need to be right for him.

I don’t think he suits Barcelona who he is linked to or a premier league team though.

Thought he was okay in a poor Chelsea team last season, so we would need him to raise his levels. Last seasons Felix would be a waste of everyone's time.
Unfortunately, we are not in the position to simply move on to another target, so in my opinion we should be all over this.
With the transfer market absolutely bonkers at the moment, players of Felix potential aren't around for low risk, loan transfers.

His small body frame and his technique probably suit Pep's football.

Small risk? Isn't he on absolutely enormous wages?

I think £250k a week was mentioned when he signed for Chelsea.

But few clubs are both interested and capable of paying him that. And AM looks «desperate» to get rid. Furtermore, his wages for a one year loan would be a commitment of £13 mill. Steep, but also limited. If he failed we would not be stuck with that salary and high depreciations for years.

Isn't he waiting for Barcelona? He's on record this summer saying they're his dream club.

Bit of a red flag he's yet to secure a move away all summer, if you ask me. Especially with top and available forwards such a rarity.

I'm not his biggest fan but with the make up of our squad it wouldn't be a bad move.

As hard up as we are, that's a massive outlay unless he really delivers on it. He's such an odd player in terms of his character on the pitch. One minute he's flying and looks determined and like the player Atletico would spend such an astronomical amount on, the next, he's barely interested and plays really meekly in terms of both intent and conviction. Such a mixed bag.

Really don't know if he would justify his wage here and I think, given our miserly predicament, we have to be more certain than anyone else bar Liverpool with our signings, loan or otherwise.

Joao is more creative that our front line combined and is more consistent than Bruno. But what exactly would we do with him?

Bruno and Marcus are going nowhere, so that really leaves CF. We've just spent 70m on CF -- with a broken back, so perhaps Rasmus is the lovechild of Saha and Martial (just kidding!) -- who must be given his chance for looks more and more like a transition season shaping up for us.

By all means, please hijack him from us. Laporta doing his buddy Mendes another favour signing this guy who has no role and probably selling on Ansu..

We created 32 chances in our first two games, more than any club except Brighton. Managed to score a single goal.

"Let's buy this creative player who can't finish...."

Who can we be «certain» on? Harry Kane? Jack Grealish? Caicedo? Rice? These players will cost their clubs £200 mill over the duration of their contracts. In some cases, a yearly cost of three times Felix wages.
