Joao Felix | littlest hobo in Milan

He choose the worst option possible for him. Thats a fact. But, since lots of details have come out, related to the arrest of the then president of Benfica, it looks like he had no choice, and just had to comply with the business, very profitable for all parties involved.

What's the TLDR version of events?

Some countries, like Portugal have a few club owners, but a lot of club presidents, voted by the fee paying fans. So, there is an incentive to "misplace" some parts of the huge fees on transfers.

Later ot became known that the whole operation cost 128 millions, and was bound to happen exclusively if Mendes was involved.

So, the player had to be "convinced" (it was clear he didnt want to leave so soon). In the Benfica accounting investigation (which led to the presidents arrest), it became clear that only around 50 million really got to the club. The rest was divided in "fees and commissions" not easily determined.

Not sure why some fans still would take him, I have seen alot of youtube opinions of who would take him over Bruno in our team.

What has he done since the season he broke through? A player that is living off one season and talent.

Why would you take any notice of those? You get more sense from Twitter comments than those on YouTube.

I don't know its just one of those things... I watch it to wind myself up really, just to see what kind of outrageous opinions some people can have.

Some of them are match going fans... who clearly lack football knowledge and IQ.
