Yeah tbf I was just relaying what Ben Jacobs said but it made sense.

Custis
Will we be changing the chant from Glazers out to Ratliffe out in a couple seasons (if they are even gone). Can't wait to see what the takeover timeline is.
No investment in the community but at least we can claim the moral high ground.

Do you think the Glazers are giving up equity for the good of the club? It’s going in their pockets. INEOS are here for their cut of what the Glazers think is coming.I don't care what anyone says, but he is not giving them £1.5 billion to stuff in their piggy bank, and is not saying it is a step to a full takeover without having is legally bound somehow.
yep.
A lot of people bringing preconceived notions to these tweets. It’s just apparent we are in the end game and will now hopefully have a new ownership structure. Could be really exciting times!
The community investment from City has seen hundreds of millions of pounds leave Manchester.

What does him having 25% mean for United while we wait for it to eventually be a majority stake? Genuinely curious.
Mostly due to the stadium which isn’t the issue here
Notice the language viewed as, I think a statement from INEOS would be more definitive as it would potentially clarify their intent on full ownership. The Glazers have done such a bad job at running the club that it's almost impossible for any new owner not to succeed from their position but there must be some very strong contractual obligations to ensure full ownership is not a view but a guarantee.
At minimum there would have to be concessions from the Glazers so that INEOS aren’t just investing money that’s immediately siphoned out of the club and into the Glazer’s pockets. I’d also expect they will have a voice at board level and with future decision making such as hiring and firing of DoF and potential stadium redevelopments. What does him having 25% mean for United while we wait for it to eventually be a majority stake?
