A complete fraud, a loser, an irritating little tit and being paid a fortune to be all of those things, the world just ain't fair.

His best position would be back in the changing rooms scrubbing toilets, but the useless fecker would probably end up cleaning them at the Etihad, incompetent little git.
:lol::lol::lol:

@haram @Mcking

Probably others.

I’m not a fanboi. I can acknowledge why he showed good form under Jose as the 10 and I also have no faith that Ole will get the best out of any of these players.

It’s funny because that was the accusation aimed at Jose but it has disappeared now that Ole is manager. Lets make it clear that Lukaku, Rashford, Lingard and Mata were regulars in a team which had 81 points and all of them contributed, especially at home.

All 4 are much maligned now. It’s funny.

You need to stop fecking going on about that 2nd place finish as if it was some brilliant success.

You mention it every other post as a way to defend your 3 heroes Mourinho Lukaku and Lingard

Lingard had an 8 week purple patch around Xmas 2017 into the new year. That's it, before that he wasn't good enough and since then he's been disgracefully bad.

That doesn't even shock me to be honest. Though i'm not sure how it's possible at home vs a team like Rochdale unless you are actively trying to avoid the ball.

You are playing between the midfielders, wingers and striker and should be linking them all together. Not hiding and running away from the ball.

I've always given Lingard credit for at least working hard and trying to do things in matches even when he is playing badly. Last night he was hiding. Shocking performance.

It’s an example of how to get results with a side like this:

Lukaku
Rashford Lingard Mata
Pogba Matic
Back 5

With game plans, coaching and tactics. Something people keep claiming we did not have. So when discussing players it is important to understand what type of tactics and setup will help them and the team get better results.

So when people cry for Rashford to play up front or on the right, and I explain the issues this has in terms of balance it is dismissed. Then when he does play up front and it does not work, he is suddenly regarded as not good enough? It’s hypocritical.

I said the same thing about pressing and our issues with ball retention. Yet I always shot down and said it was because we were not fit enough. There are many examples, and I am not even claiming Rashford and Lingard are world class. They did however show their capabilities in top games, so I am not going to sit here and lambast them when they are playing under a naive manager in situations which may not even benefit them.

Fun Fact a 16-year-old playing right-back for a League 1 team has more goals at Old Trafford than Jesse Lingard does in 2019.

Think the criticism of him has made him even worse as he doesn't look right. Not defending him as I can't stand his antics and I don't think he's United quality but he's not THIS bad. Very poor start to the season even by the usual standards.

Wouldn't be surprised if he starts against Arsenal for the counter attack we'll probably try to play.

I don't think he is good enough anymore. I used to be a big fan of his but it looks like he doesn't have the quality to be a top player and his good runs of form and moments of brilliance were just that, flashes in the pan.

I love these posts. He was never any good. What were you watching? He has been as shite as this throughout his career.

What's funny is how you have the audacity to show your face in here still pushing your ridiculous opinion.

That Jose did get more out of these players than he was given credit for? Well I am completely right about that.

What is your definition of backup player in Man Utd? What backup player should do?
I'm talking about the present time, the players that we have and how many we can realistically change in one or two summers. If i could change 15 of them, he would not be even a back up, but that's not realistic.

So true, his love for Jose is borderline psychotic

Him getting an assist, is like Anderson getting an assist for Ronaldos goal vs Porto in the CL years ago.

He didn't get the best out of them at ManUtd.

Matic - best season at Chelsea
Pogba - best season at Juventus
Martial - best season under Van Gaal
Lukaku - best season at Everton
Smalling - best season under Van Gaal
Shaw - best season under Poch when he was just 18
Lingard - best season under Jose
Young - best season under Van Gaal (after SAF).
Herrera - best season under Jose.
Mkhitaryan - best season at Dortmund
Sanchez - best season at Arsenal
Rashford - best season under Jose or his debut season under Van Gaal.

So which player had their best season under Jose? Getting best or more out of players means creating a system to get best or near best out of players.

Poch, Pep, Klopp these managers got best or more out of players at their clubs. Jose's competitor is Ole who is looking out of his depth, that doesn't mean Jose got the best out of them. It means we hired 2 managers who failed to bring the best out of players or failed to replicate their best seasons.

Mata Chelsea.

He's bad, but i think he is also in horrific form. He'll get better for what is worth. I'd play Gomes or Pereira in most game in nr 10 from now on.

He was actually hiding last night (as he often does). He is playing at his level. The odd rare good game only happens through law of averages anyways, so he won't get much better at all.

Just seen a stat and I checked transfermarkt and it's true

He has 19 assists for Manchester United in 174 apps at the age of 26

I just can't shake off this feeling that a renewal is around the corner. There were few rumors in the past week as well.

And after handing Jones a new 5 year deal in February, it wouldn't surprise me if the club did the same with Lingard.

The club are already working it according to the press briefings.

When you look at Dan James you see a player who can make an impact from the first minutes he's on the pitch. In recent state Jess can't even make the bench quality. Caftards who were claiming he's championship quality sadly may have a point. Depressing to see him trying to do something positive, but ending not even challenging for the ball.

He was extremely unpredictable during Jose's reign and sometimes could score for fun from outside the box. What has actually happen, hard to explain, but it's becoming most taxing for entire team.

Individual performances like this is one of reasons we were sacking manager after manager... players simply not caring despite promising performances in the past.

We can't continue playing with a number 10 since all ours are POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR

We should revert to a midfield 3, and Jesse should go back on Youtube and this is it.

Absolute no doubt he was invisible last night but, I have to put this down most of the blame on the coaching staff. What was our game plan? Rochdale were well organized and tried to play out the back but, very early on we saw that we were going to have to break them down. If the general public know that Lingard is not suited in a 10 role, one that is showing for the ball, dictating play, making those incisive passes, then surely the staff know it. What adjustments did we make to either get him involved or get a player in that position where they would be able to conduct the play better. .

We'd play down the sides but, he wasn't providing overloads, he wasn't dropping deep to link up play, we were not bringing him into play through the middle, he wasn't making any runs into the box. About all he was able to do was press. Yet, our staff did nothing to adjust, to ensure that we were not playing with a man down, sub him, switch formations or put him out wide, allow Pogba to get forward and bring in Perreira. Yet they let him be out there till the 85th minute.

No, that's Lingard not knowing how to play the position.

What a daft post. It’s about getting the best out of them all in one team. Amassing 81 points with them all in one side is getting the best out of them in a team.
