I think taxi drivers and builders are it's key demographic tbh.I genuinely think I've only ever heard it in taxis.
Yes, I can see that, I apologise.....it was just a rant from me about the BBC, and the assortment of 'd**k-heads' they seem to continue to employ on a regular basis.
From Saville onwards (possibly before him as well!) they seem 'able to pick em'. Makes you wonder what their recruitment and human resource methods are like?
I suppose I grew up in a time when the BBC was respected and employed people in that vein too; suppose the apparent need to be like all the others, means they will inevitable be found to have 'feet of clay'.
Apologise (again) for any confusion or upset caused.
I was very close to saying it is a good job Saville is dead or Talksport would find a way of employing him.
A bit younger actually, but remember him in clubs and discos in the 1960's and getting his 'Fix it' programme on the Beeb.... of course at that time his personal behaviour was supposedly 'undiscovered'. He fooled many people for many years, was hero worshiped in some quarters, reputedly on an annual basis made more money for charities than he did for himself. So, you're older than Saville would have been, if he was still alive today?
He was very powerful and the powers at the BBC were more worried about programme ratings than child safety. Think there had been rumours, but they got stronger when Jim'll Fix It was on and that was a rating winner, so they did nothing. The fact he invited his mate Gary Glitter on there as well. Better stop this conversation otherwise it will go away from our mate Jermaine Jenas.A bit younger actually, but remember him in clubs and discos in the 1960's and getting his 'Fix it' programme on the Beeb.... of course at that time his personal behaviour was supposedly 'undiscovered'. However the BBC's Personnel/HR dept was somehow, not aware, or at least not able to act, and it's been all downhill ever since.
Ideally. He’s boring and a useless commentator but are we saying should never work again?
