Great assist yesterday.
Disagree by all means, but you don't have to exaggerate you're amazement just to join the gang.
You're basically admitting that you're wrong about Chicharito now.Your initial post that sparkled all the mockeries was so out of context with the 12/13 Chicharito, this is why a lot of posters are making fun of you.
What Hernandez was good/bad at last season is irrelevant
Let's be honest, on here what a player did three games ago is irrelevant. Giggs can't play midfield anymore, he's back to being a winger again etc etc etc.
It doesn't take many games to change opinon, this being another example.
By the stupid ones. Any sane person can see that hernandez's buildup has improved throughout, hell, look at the vid that's posted above as a an example of has much it really has improved.
You think it's championship material, that's fair enough. It`ll just get categorized into the long list of dumb shit said on here. You can`t say something stupid and then get mad when people call you up on it.
And yes, it`s an opinion, a stupid one, but an opinion nonetheless.
Nobody has got mad and nobody has said he hasn't improved.
It's quite ridiculous to say Hernandez' technique is championship levels and focusing on how that forms him as a player. Most players have one or two areas where they are no better than "championship players".
Championship levels amongst players:
Carrick - pace
Messi - aerial ability
Vidic - pace
Smalling - close control
Young - dribbling (for a winger)
Valencia - left foot (actually more like league 2)
The point is, that all these players are top drawer. Messi isn't a prolific header of the ball, yet he is the best player in the world. Why focus on Hernandez' first touch, saying it is championship levels, when he is clearly a top drawer striker more than good enough for the EPL? Would anyone discard Vidic as a CB because he is a bit slow, because it will leave him exposed from time to time.
To me, Rooney's short passing is not much better than Hernandez', but every time Hernandez misplaces the ball, it is noticed to a greater extent. Hernandez' first touch isn't the best, but it is much improved, so why not focus on that and how he is definitely PL quality?
Isn't messing a fantastic "headerer". But yeah, Hernandez is good.
Championship level build up play eh? Great touch.

The goal was hardly build up play though, it was Chicharito receiving the hollywood killer pass while he sat on the shoulder of the defender. It just so happened Rooney was there for the pass.
fecking excellent tonight. Felt bad for him when he missed the chance after pick-pocketing the defender for his first chance, felt terrible for him when he decided to smash it into the net (in RvP fashion I might add, great technique) after being whistled offside late on. I am developing serious man love.

His buildup play was fantastic throughout the match, not just the one occasion, great dummy for Rooney, great layoff for Anderson to name a few others.

If my point was 'Hernandez never does anything good ever' this kind of response might be apt.
I think it's getting a bit boring now, the moment he does anything half decent it's highlighted here. At least be impartial, at least mention the moments where his touch was poor. There were a few tonight.
Anybody using tonight's performance to counter my argument needs a head doctor.
No need to say that mojo but I agree with you. There were some poor touches tonight as well as some good ones. I think me and you both will agree his overall play is inconsistent but I see more good than bad.

When I come in here and post everytime he does something shit, thinking it somehow proves my point, that will probably be the time to suggest what I shouldn't say.
The thing is, showing he does something shit that Championship players do... well, we could do that with Rooney and 90% of the strikers in the Premier League, it proves nothing.
When Hernandez rips open a Premier League defence week in week out however, well, that's just something Championship players don't do and that's why they are playing the Championship.
So many times, he was stood offside, when a through ball was on.
He has the pace to beat most CBs from the halfway line, why doesn't he just watch his positioning?
(not that I don't think he is a great player, before his mum threatens me for criticising)
Usually offsides are difficult and can equally be blamed on the guy playing the pass but tonight he had a couple where I thought he should have done better.
Rooney had some poor touches tonight too. Its a silly argument. He did very well
