Very good point. Not sure how any player can agitate for a move unless a genuine cast iron offer has been made.Well duh. We haven’t even made a proper bid yet. He might agitate if we meet their demands.
Else, what is he protesting against?

Only Mike McGrath has reported this so far, and he isn't too reliable a reporter compared to other Telegraph reporters.
No, was posted at 5pm id say its put of the McGrath article. I've not got access to the telegraph so I dont know for sure
ThanksI don’t think so. No activity from the usual suspects.
Possibly. Wouldn't be surprised if United showed such arrogance.Suspect they thought Dortmund would just cave in, but they don't need to.
I can't see this happening.
Yeah, I remember it well.
The truth is someone I know gave me information and I shared it on here because... why not?
If it doesn’t turn out to be true then, oh well, shit happens.
I shared what I was told in good faith, but I will admit that I’ve enjoyed winding a few people up today based on their over emotional reactions.
There’s one guy in India saying he’s not been to sleep and got pissed because of my update which will impact his work tomorrow. If that’s not a wind up then he needs to sort his life out
The window is still open.Kinda sucks he is not coming because of the incompetence of Woodward and Glaziers.
We seem to have royally fecked up this window. Another exciting season coming up.
You've never been confidentYa, I'd be very surprised to see this happen at this point, I think it's just too late. I hope it does, but it's looking very grim
Because no one in the German media has reported a bid from us, my guess is that we're still going through the agents to find a deal that Dortmund will accept. Going through agents will take more time than by submitting a formal bid to Dortmund, but we'll have hope of forming a deal that they'll accept the first time.Either we don't want to pay the 108 million pounds or we don't have the money. We all know Dortmund wont sell for less. So to be honest don't really see the reasoning for prolonging this deal from happening. Can anybody explain, or give valid arguments as why United are not finishing this one way or another.
One shitty article and everyone soils their pants! This is happening even if it’s late into the window!Usual suspects who have been super negative for months still being negative, surprise surprise.
I refuse to believe that submitting a bid is this hard and takes this much time.Because no one in the German media has reported a bid from us, my guess is that we're still going through the agents to find a deal that Dortmund will accept. Of course it’s nonsense. I posted it for the joke. Sancho will be done within this week.Load of rubbish

You've never been confident

It's not that submitting a bid is hard, it's the fact that submitting the right bid is hard. We tried negotiating with Dortmund earlier on, but they made us go through agents instead. That's why we haven't submitted a bid yet; Dortmund only want 120 million Euros guaranteed, but we're still trying to negotiate a better deal via the agents.I refuse to believe that submitting a bid is this hard and takes this much time.

For the first time I actually feel this one may be slipping away, don't have that confident feeling that we'll sign him at this point, think if he was to be a United player he'd be one by now. VDP being our signing of the summer would be depressing but I'd also be pretty disheartened if we signed Bale. Our alternative needs to be an actual alternative, not a Sanchez type signing.
Wonder who is top of the alternative RW targets list even though of course would rather we didn't have to go down that round and find out
it's what I needIs that what you want ?
What is the incompetence?Kinda sucks he is not coming because of the incompetence of Woodward and Glaziers. But at least now they'll use the rest of the money to beef up the squad which is desperately needed.
